Jorginho man of the match - they cant get near him even when their tactic obviously was to close him down.
Important win. I wonder what our EL lineup is going to look like. ' Tonelli's distribution was massively improved. All of his passes were simple and on the ground. I don't think he attempted any long balls like he did last time played. I want to see him play midweek.
I heard that after the Benevento game, when Sarri was asked about the lack of rotation, he replied, "if my players need a rest they can take it next Thursday in Germany." We'll see. edit: Sarri was wrong if the quote is correct. Next game is at home.
hmm maybe he's just thinking about the following week. I mean these games are sandwiched around SPAL and Caglari........we should be able to rest some guys
I agree. But I am not that sure. We cannot gain much by winning the EL, as we will get to CHL through the league, and it could make us lose the 1st spot. However, there is prestige and money in winning the EL, and I don't think that it will playing the EL could make us stumble in the SA. It will be about defense, we cannot let Juve score the first goal, their defense will know how to play it then. Let's hope the Spurs give them a hell of a game, and a good beating on the side.
