#Napoli have reportedly asked after Gerard Deulofeu, but #WatfordFC want €30m for the former Milan winger https://t.co/Japuz4cTrQ #SerieA pic.twitter.com/kBTB3FESFr— Football Italia (@footballitalia) June 20, 2019 Don't do it.
Manolas as an Albiol replacement would be the best we could ask for. James (if he comes) I think officially means we go back to a 4-2-3-1 Milik Insigne James Callejon Zielinksi/Fabian Allan Ghoulam Koulibaly Manolas DiLorenzo Meret Not too bad ... Milik will do better as James always looks to create for his teammates
From what I've read from outlets in Holland, the Lozano stuff really doesn't have much behind it (yet). Deulofeu isn't the kind of guy Napoli should drop 30m on. That's something Everton does.
Don Carlo has been banging his wife in Canada for a few weeks now. While listening to Andrea Bocelli sing. So I think most of these rumors are bullshit. I’d like to think our management is intelligent enough to have Don Carlo around for major signings.
“There are many names on the table. Carlo asked me for James Rodriguez, so I’ll try to please him. “Lozano and Manolas are also on the table, but we’re following other players too. We’re starting again from a good base. “I tell the Napoli fans to trust those who have never betrayed them so far...” The timing is perfect, the slyness is of an unusually strong color. Yes, this man probably knows what he's doing. And he probably knows reality too. Sts you spend big and buy the best, only to be totally weak nonetheless, and I would like to dress this sentence up in an MU dress.
TRANSFERS OUT Confirmed: Hamsik 20M Likely: Diawara 20M, Hysaj 20M, Rui 12M, Albiol 6M Others: Inglese, Vincius, Verdi, Ounas, Rog, Grassi, Chiriches, Sepe Possible: Insigne 70M, Allan 60M TRANSFERS IN Confirmed: Di Lorenzo 10M Likely: James 5M (plus 35M next year), Manolas 36M, Fares or Pellegrini 12M, Elmas 20M Possible: Lozano 50M (if Insigne leaves), Bennacer, one of Costa, Cavani or Icardi
We are basically doing smart transfers and have money for a top striker. This team can finally win. GOAL Starter: Meret Bench: Ospina, Karnezis CENTER BACKS Starter: Koulibaly, Manolas Bench: Maksimovic, Luperto RIGHT BACK Starter: Di Lorenzo Bench: Malcuit Left back BACK Starter: Ghoulam Bench: Fares or Pellegrini MIDFIELD Starter: Allan, Fabian, Zielinski Bench: Callejon, Elmas, Bennacer ATTACKING MIDFIELD Starter: James, Lozano Bench: Mertens, Younes ATTACK Starter: New Bench: Milik
Manolas-Koulibaly partnership would be unreal. I love the James transfer but I feel we need a go to striker/winger for the goals... Can Milik be that guy? Maybe ... 2016/2017 - 23 Games played, 8 goals, 1 assist - 873 minutes played 2017/2018 - 17 Games played, 6 goals, 1 assists - 543 minutes played 2018/2019 - 47 Games played, 20 goals, 4 assists - 3153 minutes He's only just turned 25 in February and played his first full season with us. He has 34 goals with us and averages a goal every 134 minutes. Another full season with James behind him would be very good for Milik I feel. Would I be against bringing in a top class striker? No of course not but I don't feel we should throw Milik under the bus and brand him as complete shit when he's only just had his 1st full season with us after 2 seasons with horrible injuries and he is still only 25.
I am still not convinced with Milik. He's too slow and modern football isnt kind to poacher-type striker with little movement. That's why he seldom score against big teams. But if we are not signing any top striker then we have no choice but to rely on him. I am also not sure James will come to Napoli. There is Copa America going on and if Columbia go far in the tournament with James doing well, his price tag will rise. And Real will want to sell to the highest bidder or ADL will give up, given his stingy nature. Only plus in our favour is that he seems keen to play under Ancelotti.
Agree Manolas is key but Ancelotti also wants James and he will bring excitement. Inisgne may leave and we may get Lozano. But key is a striker. We cannot rely on Milik. He really lacks quality. We need to beat that traitor and fraud Sarri. ADL has to get a striker.
guys I'm not sure about Manolas.K2-ALbiol is a good partnership just because Albiol's abilities with the ball. Is he any good with ball?
he is not albiol on the ball. but he is faster and consistent. k2 will have to be the player carrying the ball forwards
And K2 can do that more than plausibly, he can even be a threat in the attack, he just needs to be a bit better evaluating when to actually push it a little more and when to pass the ball and run back into defense. Sts he just doesn't know when to stop and uselessly tries to provide for the attack with his energy down. In that situation he can usually manage precision, but never power.
We need Manolas to make the next step. He is better than Albiol and Albiol is aging. Albiol better on the ball but we are not playing Sarriball anymore.
He can make a decent enough pass short distance on the grass to a CM or the fullback on his side, but don't expect much else. When he attempts a long ball it's about a 50/50. As for carrying/dribbling, if he can't beat a guy with a couple basic touches and just use his pace, then he's probably not gonna try. He's reached the stage in his career where he's learned what he can do well and what he can't. It is what it is; your RB better get used to getting the ball when he doesn't want it. Manolas' strengths are Albiol's weaknesses and vice versa. If you put them together, you'd have one of the best CB's in the world. Thankfully for you lot, you have Koulibaly instead of Fazio, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just let Manolas do what he's good at it, and he'll be great for you guys.
