He is a pain in the ass but he is our pain in the ass. I just dont see him being very successful at another team with other much more talented players. I think his antics might grow old on another team and he will get benched.

Can go either way. But he clearly can’t grow with the pressure at Napoli.

Chirches injured again and will undergo surgery. How many times has he been injured now? He needs to go ASAP

Maksimovic and Chriches are both injured. Albiol is just back but I doubt he has regain full fitness. We are very thin at the CB area. Luperto to start? That's scary. We are plagued with injuries this season. Really bad luck.

Why scary? He didn't have a bad game vs. Atalanta. I think he would be capable vs. Frosinone

I am not that confident of him yet due to his inexperience. Need to see how he do in a few more games.

I think starting him vs. Frosinone (a team who is almost relegated) is low risk.

Actually, teams that are about to be relegated can be very dangerous to play against. Assuming they actually want to stay in Serie A and want to fight it out.

Yes, and that's why it will be a good test for him. He hasn't proven himself to be a liability and it's a good chance for him to shine. We always complain that young Italians don't get enough playing time, and when the opportunity appears, we suddenly get anxiety. If he can't perform here, he has no business being on this squad

True. Better to test him against Frosinone then against one of the top teams. He seems to have been around for a long time as I saw him playing in pre-season games, only to be loan out subsequently.

Chiriches had multiple shoulder dislocations. He needs surgery. It’s silly he has waited so long. After that the problem will be sorted.

Lots of talk of Insgine today on Napoli radio and the newspapers.

They're saying it's very possible that he can leave but the Napoli asking price is too high. (Napoli want 100 million, but 70 will probably do it). Even at 70million, there aren't many teams willing to pay that transfer for a player on the wrong side of his 20's. For 70 million you can get Chiesa who is 21.

    - The rumors of Insigne joining Milan are just fantacalcio IMO. For starters if Milan don't make CL they're in no position to spending that kind of money. And who will be Milan coach is up in the air as there's a very high chance that Gattuso is fired. So no way of knowing if Insigne will be apart of their plans.

    - Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Liverpool are not interested in signing Insigne at a press conference this morning.

    - PSG have yet to express any interest in Insigne.

No one in Serie A will get Insigne.

Atletico, Bayern, PSG seem to be the only options but they are unlikely.

Unlikely any club will be willing to pay 70M for Insigne.

Even hard to see anyone paying 70M for Allan. The drop in our form has made player values (including Diawara, Verdi and Hysaj) drop significantly.

It seems these are the players Ancelotti wants to keep and build around.

    Meret
    Koulibaly
    Albiol
    Fabian
    Zielinski
    Callejon
    Milik
    Mertens

Allan and Diawara will likely be replaced by Fornals and Veretout.

I understand Jose's quality, but still, I think he is greatly overrated. Or, I should rather say, he is very good at what he does but there are others who can do even better. Moreover, I am fed up with his pathetic dives and cries, he's like a little girl, rolling on the ground pretending he was hit by bomb shrapnels...

    I fully agree with you.

We need an upgrade and his antics are annoying and embarrassing.

    Callejon is signing an extension.

    Napoli should sign Lazzarri asap

Callejon will extend 2 years until 2022 when he is 34. Beleive he will take a wage cut.

Lozano is out of the picture. I also don't think Insigne will leave. No one will buy him. Think at best we just get Kouame or Lasagna and keep what we have.

Do we want him? Feel PL players are spoiled and he must be on very high salaries.

    Culturally he won't fit us.

I think realistically the below will happen at best.

    Insigne/Mertens - Milik/LASAGNA or KOUAME
    Zielinski/Younes - Fabian/FORNALS - VERETOUT/Rog - LAZARO/Callejon
    XXX/Ghoulam - Koulibaly/Luperto - Albiol/Maksimovic - LAZZARI/Malcuit

We will buy at most 6 players. I think attack will be the main issue next year again. Central defense could also do with a better defender but hope is strengthening wingbacks and keeping more possession leads to less goals.

    Striker 25M
    Fornals 30M
    Veretout 25M
    Lazaro 25
    Two Wingbacks 55M
    TOTAL 160M

Out: Hamsik 20M, Allan 50M, Diawara 25M, Hysaj 25M, Rui 10M, Inglese 15M, Vinicus 10M. Verdi and Ounas will be loaned.

Also Lazzarri is a better right sided mid, then a right back. Logical sub for Callejon.

Both Tripper and Lazzarri can cross the ball.
