He wouldn't be a bad backup to milik, certainly couldn't do worse than Pavo. Klaassen rumour is just a rumour. His characteristics aren't useful for us and our midfield is stacked. With that said though I can see atleast one of our midfielders moving this summer

The maksimovic and pavoletti buys might have ********ed us more than we know. At least Allan has had some use.... Allan still has a high potential, from what ive seen the other 2 dont. Maks seem too slow to play in our defence
Knowing Sarri's rotation policy, do we really need to replace Pavoletti? Just rotate Mertens & Milk there. We should basically trade Pavoletti for Conti. Use the CL money to get a RW -- maybe someone like Felipe Anderson from Lazio. I haven't given up on Maksi just yet. I only want to get a top GK if we're going to replace Reina -- Sportiello would've been a Pavogol type acquisition. I'm not in favor of too much change.
I still think Maks was a solid buy. Defenders have long careers. Hysaj-Maksimovic-Koulibaly-Ghoulam can all be world class in 4 years when all are at their best point in their careers. Give them time. We have a team for the future. Look at Zielinski-Diawara-Rog. Those 3 all have at least 8 year each at the top of their game. Diawara even more so.
Koulibaly will likely be sold. I hope we sell Albiol too. I alos don't think Ghollum will stay. As long as we keep our midfield and Mertens stays we are fine. Our defense needs to be rebuilt in summer.
Koulibaly is definitely distracted, can't see him repeating his last seasons performances which is a shame. At his best hes world class. Albiol will probably leave too, so we are at risk of both first choice CBs going. We need someone of great speed and strength to replace k2, and someone of experience and leadership to replace albiol. I'd also like to see us go for sirigu
Tonelli-Maksi-Chiriches... we need a 4th. Albiol's release clause is silly low and I think hes going to go back to Valencia to help them, and K2 is probably off to England. I like Maksimovic, remember he was injured most of last season, 2 seasons ago he was incredible. Truth be told have not been paying much attention to the young guns in Serie A this season. However based on the little I've watched... GK - Reina, Sepe RB - Hysaj, Conti LB - Strinic, Ali Adnan CB - Maksi, Tonelli, Chiriches, Izzo Midfield - Allan, Grassi, Rog (can also play vice Callejon... may end up being his better position), Hamsik, Zielinski, Jorginho, Diawara Striker - Milik, Schick Wingers - Mertens, Insigne, Callejon, Giak I'm fairly certain Ghoulam, Albiol and K2 are gone after this season.

I dont think diawara himself would want the transfer, going to 3 different clubs at his tender age isn't wise. I'm sure his agent and him would want to continue maturing here, especially if he's going to get an Italian NT call up. Also Ali adnan would be a terrific replacement for Ghoulam, has a ferocious left foot and is alot quicker. Idk about izzo though, I think we should try reaching higher and finding a world class CB. Maybe Pepe?
if Diawara leaves, go after Torreira from Sampdoria. I think with funny money the english clubs are throwing around, we are only going to go after the release clauses Aurelio put in their contracts.
