3-1 final. I couldn't watch the whole thing. I was concerned with our buildup play out of the back and why diawara doesn't provide an outlet in those situations. He really needs to watch tapes of Jorgi.
not really, it was an okay performance. I just got bored. Dortmund were terrible and our b-team defended well and maybe got a little lucky with the goals but it is what it is when you have players who can hit the ball like Milik and Verdi.
I'm jumping on the bs hype train.... Cavani’s Instagram ...“Returning home” 🤔 pic.twitter.com/TGBgnt7fxx— Far From Vesuvius Network (@FarFromVesuvius) August 8, 2018
Sempre guys are idiots. Barely know th club and only praise ADL and attack ultras. Idiots really. I also think Cavani is coming.
They lack perspective, context and pure footballing knowledge. But I enjoy and support their podcast. One of them who rarely comes on is really good
Yeah, that is expected, even without that goal. Besides that goal, Milik still sucks for the rest of the game.
I wonder whether it is worse to know nothing about football or acting like one knows more about it than even the professionals involved in its existence. So far it seems to me like Ancelloti has a certain vision that he has been working on carrying out, slowly and patiently. According to an interview with him that can be found on the official Napoli website, he is aware of the fact that Milik needs to improve his fitness levels, which could also increase the overall velocity of his movement. Up to this point I have basically nothing to criticize him for, as he has rotated fully and absolutely and apart from the fiasco with Liverpool his results have been satisfactory. And all that without one of our greatest players, Mertens the Great, as well as without Jorgi. Moreover, I would not judge much based on the game against Liverpool, due to the factors that we have already discussed, as well as the fact that I have seen expressed by one Juve fan, with whom I completely agree, that is, the fact that Liverpool has been and will probably continue playing a league of their own these days. Taking this into account, along with the handicap that we were in possession of during and after the game, I don't see to many reasons for panic to be derived from the game.
Looks like we are not going to sign any goalkeeper as well. So if **touch wood** if Karnezis is also injured, we have to start our 3rd choice goalkeeper.
The season is going to start very soon. We do not have the time or the patience to patiently wait for Milik to regain fitness. You have watched how he played right in the pre-season games? The signs are not encouraging. Other than that goal which I concede it was a good strike, he is just awful. He could not get to the ball when team-mates passed to him, he could not pass correctly, he did not / could not involved himself in build-up play and most of the time just stand around waiting for the ball. That's because for someone still only 24 years old, he has the pace of a turtle. He is the slowest Napoli player in the entire squad. I bet even 36 years old Maggio if he is still around can outrun him. He offer some aerial threat and that's about it. Maybe he is not fit, but if so why aren't we buying another striker?
Karezis was awful against Liverpool but he was just a backup goalie last season so I won't blame him too much. He was actually decent against Dormund and make a couple of good saves. I have no idea about this 3rd choice keeper as he only previously played for the Primavera division. So if he too gets injured, oh well... we can always try Insigne in goal. That will be quite interesting. LOL. Yup, versus Milik, everyone is fast.
Some Napoli fans want to give him a chance. Incredible hownlittle they understand of football. Missed the Dortmund game. Was he that bad in that game too?
