This has been my worst week on fantasy premier league, thanks to captaining Auba and having Pogba on my team. Two penalty misses. I need to remove Pogs until Ander returns.
Liverpool seemed really off the pace to me. Something definitely not clicking offensively right now. Salah has gone cold.
Didn't say it was wrong, so not sure why you would argue semantics; marginal means small margin, minimal - in super slow-mo it was his right-knee that was offside.
Fair enough. Just saw some people on social media saying it wasn't offsides and on the replay I thought it looked fairly clear.
There's an argument that the current offside rule needs to be simplified. It is doing things we don't intend it to do. The entire point of the rule is to prevent people just chillin in the oppo box/half whenever. I think the rule should be daylight or obviously beyond. It would relax things and open the game up a little.
.Pool's attack is still very dangerous against most teams (as they showed vs Watford for instance). Salah is a bit off for sure, but to me Firmino not being anywhere near as good as he was last season, has been their biggest problem with their attack not looking as dangerous as it used to be. Mane and Salah might get all the plaudits but Firmino is the oil that makes it run as smoothly as it did last season and they're missing what he can provide on that front this term.
Juve v Napoli has been El Classico-esque. Tons of cards and both teams swarming the ref after every foul. With a win here Juve basically have buried the rest of the league. They'll have a 16 pt lead.
That was a fun game to watch between Napoli and Juve. Not much really at stake though, except pride but that's how top of the table teams go at it. Ancelotti wanted to go after Juve, and Napoli sure tried but it obviously was not enough. The league has been done and dusted for quite some time anyway, if we're being honest. In other news, Klopp is going to Klopp, always: " The wind was coming in all directions and did not help anybody.", were his words earlier after Pool's draw in the Merseyside derby.
Klopp is worse than Jose to me. I despise him. Not because he's at Pool, but because he bitches and moans and makes excuses nonstop. It's never his fault or his teams fault. And somehow the media still loves him.
Juve scored 2 goals but over all such a defensive mindset. I think juve should part with Allegri they are almost out of CL bar miracle and winning domestic isnt even a challenge i bet most most PL managers can win Serie A with Juve. Zidane will be very interested if offer arrives.
On Klopp this isnt the first time he pulls out ridiculous wind excuse. Liverpool 0-1 Soton: ‘Too windy’ Liverpool 2-3 WBA: ‘TV broadcasters cut game short’ WBA 2-2 Liverpool: ‘Pitch too dry’ Wolves 2-1 Liverpool: ‘Too windy, again’ Liverpool 1-1 Leicester: ‘Too snowy’ United 0-0 Liverpool: 'United injuries disrupted Liverpool Rhythm' Everton 0-0 Liverpool: 'Too windy'
Its ok though because; "Who wants to be top of the table at the beginning of March?" Klopp said. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47436009 That is almost "we never wanted to win the league anyway" kind of playground stuff City W-W-W-W-W vs Liverpool D-W-D-W-D - the guy is rattled as are his team.
more on that. they're all drinking the Klopp kool aid i guess https://www.skysports.com/football/...ht-liverpool-deserved-to-win-merseyside-derby
