United, Arsenal and Tottenham have all bottled it this weekend. Let's see if Chelsea can take advantage today vs Burnley.
Nope. Chelsea is down 1-0 to Burnley. No one wants to win. We got saved but we absolutely need to win these next two.
I think you're not fully up to date there. So disappointing what happened in this game already... Another bonkers game possibly in store? Chelsea's defense is the gift that keeps on giving.
Chelsea's bench gets mad at the end of the game, afer Sarri gets his marching orders with some players apparently trying to get at Burnley/the officials. Great look. Pretty much as you were this weekend, with all top 4 contestants dropping points (Chelsea only gained a pt today). Could have been a hell of lot worse for United and top (technically at least) is still very much alive.
3 teams. I am hesitant to call us a team. If we get into the top four I would check the betting patterns and see if any of those clubs have people getting mysterious brown paper bags.
Still very fortunate that we're still in this at this point. Could be all over by this weekend but a 3pt deficit with the games remaining is not out of the realm of impossibility to bridge, if the players can get their act together. Chelsea are very schizophrenic (and still in the EL), who knows what Arsenal will do tbh from game to game (and still in the EL as well). Spurs look to be the surest bet but they're also juggling a bigger load, with a squad stretched to it's limit. Anything can happen still.

Mbappe has obviously learned from Pogba's recent comments. That's the perfect answer to give under the circumstances. Even if it does not kill off the rumor completely, at least Mbappe has done his part.

Deserved if/when it ends up being confirmed. He's had an amazing year and has gone a long way in justifying the fee Pool paid for him.
but top 4 was over weeks ago. even our form aside as shaky as it is, people were acting like the other guys were going to win out their games. lulz
I have been certain that all our rivals for the top four would drop points. That will remain true down to the last game of the season. We just suck too much to capitalize.
The way things are going so far with the teams ahead of us, maybe a draw vs City today would still be useful, provided we run the table for the remaining 3 games.
yes but it's like people never watched the premier league before. and banking on Arsenal to keep form? ARSENAL? because "their run in is easy"? there is a real fear we might not capitalise and we haven't really thus far. but even in terms of form we are not that far behind the other three over the last 6 or so games. that may just make the agony worse in the end though
Just unbelievable that other results continue to keep us in this race: by rights, should have been completely out. Yet, here we are: still in with an outside shot. Chelsea game will it for us though: no margin of error and absolutely must win.
