Re: Minor López Campollo- Thread Oficial At the end, S.W. was closer to scoring again than Naval to tie the series (understandable down 2 men), missing chance after chance. The red cards aside, I'm not sure why Naval lost their cool, being only 1 goal away from staying alive.

Re: Minor López Campollo- Thread Oficial Tasan el pase de López Campollo en más de un millón de quetzales El delantero guatemalteco Minor López Campollo ha sido noticia en la prensa chilena, al anunciar que el 51% su pase fue tasado en más de un millón 300 mil quetzales (170 mil dólares) La opción de compra es sólo para los choreros y vencerá el 31 de diciembre, día hasta en que concluye el contrato de López Campollo. “La cifra es alta, pero estamos en condiciones de pagarla si estimamos que nos conviene”, expresó el presidente de Naval, Fernando Rojas, al matutino La Estrella de Concepción; de comprar el representativo de Talcahuano los derechos futbolísticos de López, lo daría a préstamo a un equipo de la Primera División. “No jugará en el club en el 2012, pues hay entidades (equipos) de Primera A que le han puesto el ojo”, refirió Rojas al respecto. Se mencionan al Audax Italiano y Cobreloa, como los equipos interesados en el delantero quetzalteco.

Re: Minor López Campollo- Thread Oficial Seguramente Naval va a comprar el pase para luego cederlo a préstamo a un club de Primera que seguramente sería o el Audax o Cobreloa. Con un año bueno en Primera, su valor fácil se triplica.

Sounds great, as Cobreloa is a highly competitive team. They will be playing the final of the "Clausura" against U de Chile next week on the 26th (14:00 EST) and the 29th (17:00 EST). If they win, will they be playing in a continental tournament next year, or how does that work for the Chilean league?

That would make him the 2nd Guatemalan to appear at a Copa Libertadores? (ChaChaFut help me here). Dwight Pezzarossi played with Santiago Wanderers (year?) and I believe against Boca Juniors.
Re: Minor López Campollo- Thread Oficial That is correct, Pezzarossi is the only Guatemalan to date to have appeared in a Copa Libertadores. Coincidentally, prior to joining S.W. he had been wanted by Cobreloa as well.
