Paul Manafort moves to Alexandria jail, a past home to spies and terrorists https://www.washingtonpost.com/loca...b8ce0a-85e1-11e8-8f6c-46cb43e3f306_story.html Officials confirm the former Trump campaign chairman was booked Thursday morning into the Alexandria Detention Center, a complex of low-slung brick buildings just off the Capital Beltway and a few blocks from the federal courthouse where he will be tried later this month on bank and tax fraud charges. “Because he is a high-profile inmate, Mr. Manafort will be placed in protective custody which limits his interactions with other inmates,” Sheriff Dana Lawhorne said in a statement. “Specific details about Mr. Manafort’s confinement will not be made public due to security and privacy concerns.”

Heard an interview with the biographer of Roger Ailes tonight. Sean Hannitty has been advising Trump to fire Mueller and Rosenstein soon after Mueller files the report. That way, Trump will avoid obstruction charges. Not sure of the quality of legal advice you get from someone with around two years of college, but it will likely work for Fox viewers
You used to fly around with your national security advisor. You can’t anymore. He’s a witch. You used to fly around with your campaign manager. You can’t anymore. He’s a witch. You used to fly around with your deputy campaign manager. You can’t anymore. He’s a witch. https://t.co/n6xu0TNQoe— Joe Scarborough (@JoeNBC) July 10, 2018
The timing of this round of indictments should add some spice to the Putin-Trump meetings. In all seriousness, Congress needs to do SOMEthing, even if it's just pass a damn resolution, that Trump shouldn't meet with Putin alone.
Drumpf as a possible co-conspirator...whenever you open your mouth...it has consequences: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-russia-clinton-hack_us_5b48d9d0e4b0e7c958faf810
I will only say this once. Donald Trump is an enemy of the freedom-loving people of the world. Anyone who opposes him must stand together. We must temporarily put aside our differences, forgive past slights and animosities, and destroy him and all who support him. We can go back to hating each other afterward, secure in the knowledge that our disagreements do not hold democracy in contempt. Until then, anyone who can win an election against a Republican should be supported. If it's a Bernie Bro, if it's a Never Trump independent, if they're an establishment moderate Democrat...they get my support. The indictments today proved I have been wrong on the severity of what Trump and the GOP did. If a backbencher Republican House candidate colluded with the Russians to get stolen campaign data, it is likely that most, if not all, GOPers were complicit. They must all be brought down at the ballot box. And we all have to do it together. I will take the first step. From now until Election Day 2018, I will not write a word in anger at anyone who opposes Trump. Not on P&CE, not on MLS N&A, not anywhere.
I oppose trump. If I’m reading this correctly, I could now call you a pretentious dick bag and the only reprocussion would come from crazypete. That could be useful one day.
Me and some others have suspected the GOP since we learned about the hacking of voting systems. Question is, if the GOP and Russians will try something more outrageous in November, and if voting alone can prevent them from stealing the election.
I'd vote for John Kasich. Just sayin' -- I realize you think this scorched earth approach is what is needed, but there are a hell of a lot of republicans who despise Trump and everything he stands for. A lot of them have publicly renounced the party and others -- like Kasich -- are rejecting Trump's takeover. You'll need those people to win back the WH.
Everyone here has to admit it is hard to remove yourself from a long-held belief, no matter how much of a fantasy it may be. The fact that you could publicly have such a moment is something I applaud.
