The video from Inside the elevator? I really didn't follow this story closely as I don't give a whit about the NFL, but I thought Mueller wasn't even hired to investigate the NFL's handling of the case until after that video surfaced? But I'll defer to you if that's not correct.
I mean we have known for a while that lying under oath is not impeachable (as per B. Clinton). But It would be funny to see the political hypocrisy if Trump was caught laying under oath. Yes, at the end, it does not matter, we know.
I don't think it has anything to do with lying under oath. AFAIK it is illegal to lie to federal investigators, whether in text or interview. That is the mistake Flynn made when he lied to the FBI - it is a straight up felony offence.
Sorry, to clarify: https://eu.usatoday.com/story/sport...ller-ray-rice-russia-investigation/101809590/ Mueller didn't find evidence that anyone at the NFL knew of the videos until they became public. But according to press reports, the NFL did know. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/sep/11/ray-rice-video-was-sent-to-nfl-three-months-ago So while what I said about Mueller wasn't accurate, this helps show that Mueller might not be the brilliant lawyer he's made out to be. Including, I'll admit, by me.
This idiot is one of the first who trumpeted no collusion after barrs bogus summary How badly have the media let everyone down Sitting here pondering how remarkable it is that the Department of Justice is now arguing to a jury that one of President Trump’s oldest associates lied under oath and intimidated a witness to hide Trump’s zealous quest for oppo hacked by Russian intelligence officers.— Ken Dilanian (@KenDilanianNBC) November 13, 2019
A recent rush job was the latest job numbers where some talking heads reported Trump's made-up 300K number and not the govt's 128K number.
When will we know the final verdict? If guilty, his wife is on the horn outside the courtroom to the tattoo removal guy "Uh-huh. It's a Nixon tattoo...about 5 inches high by 3 inches wide. Make sure I get a receipt. The RNC is covering this"

edit - sorry, if the picture does not show up, it's a panel from Doonesbury in 1973 or whenever, when the hippie radio guy was saying "Guilty! Guilty! Guilty!", probably about Watergate, I'm not sure, it was before my time.
He is f*****. Good riddance. NEW: Longtime Trump ally Roger Stone has been found guilty of lying to Congress about his contacts with Wikileaks, obstruction, and witness tampering. https://t.co/unjFw0aZON— BuzzFeed News (@BuzzFeedNews) November 15, 2019

@JoeNBC You know what they call it inside the White House when one of Trump’s cronies are convicted in federal court? Friday.
Stone seems like a likely candidate for the first 2016 campaign crony to get a pardon. He'll do whatever he can to minimize prison time, and probably has a lot of dirt on a lot of people.
And if you do it at 4:20... When you celebrate the conviction of an advisor to Trump by smoking a J with a group of friends that’s called getting Roger Stoned during a Jeff Session.— The Volatile Mermaid (@OhNoSheTwitnt) November 15, 2019
