Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, I can't help you with the players you are looking for.

I wonder what happened to Alvin Hudson? He had some playing time with Minnesota, and surely he is playing somewhere this season....

    Alen Marcina handed free transfer

The 25-yo Canadian AM/F, Alen Marcina, has been told that he will not get his contract extended and that he is free to return to Canada, since he's no longer needed by his Danish club Herfølge...Alen Marcina got to play two Superliga games for Herfølge, but according to the club, he never managed to reach the level they had expected...

About Zuniga, I recall someone posting about him no longer being at Otago and the link you posted I believe is from last year or Jan 31/2005. If you click on clubs and players he is not listed at Otago. I think he is no longer there and I'll try to find the link that said he wasn't but who knows he may still be.

I wish webmasters would date articles etc. Today's date on the page is useless.

    Welcome to the board!

Tks to Grizzly at Vs for headsup, Sulentic has signed with St. Pauli. One year plus option.

    Tks to PSG at Vs

    http://www.stevenageborofc.com/content/news/20050609a.shtml

Stevenage Borough have confirmed that the contracts of Mark Rogers and Jon Brady have not been renewed for next season. Mark Rogers, the Canadian international, suffered from a series of injury set backs last season and the emergence of Ronnie Henry made it easier for Graham Westley to release him.

Charles Gbeke - Herfølge (Danish 1st Division) (2)
Stathis Kappos - Aris Saloniki (B Division) (2)
Milad Rahmati - Pegah Gilan (Iranian Second Level) (2)
The above players have all been relegated from their respective top divisions to the level indicated.

Does anyone know what happened with Dylan Hughes and Jahn Regensburg? Has it been confirmed whether they have been demoted (bankruptcy). Saw some rumours but no confirmation.

Reported today in the German media that Daniel Imhof has officially joined his old coach Marcel Koller at VfL Bochum. His contract with the Bundesliga 2 team runs until 2007.

Regarding Jahn Regensburg, they had a last minute bailout by a local firm and now are solvent once again. As far as I can tell, Dylan Hughes will be with them this season in the Regional League South as his contract runs through 2006.

Just a follow up. Due to some ambiguous wording in the article, it's either that Brilliant (who hasn't played for the Revs so far in their 14 games) has been released (IE, off the team), or is off for the Gold Cup. No one quite knows.

Check www.transfermarkt.de for details (in German). Here is the relevant bit. Headline translates as

"Seven new players to Bochum. Imhof's contract runs till 2007."

Veröffentlicht am 27.06.2005 um 15:28 Uhr
    Quelle: dpa

Sechster Neuzugang in Bochum: Imhof erhält Vertrag bis 2007

Bundesliga-Absteiger VfL Bochum hat Daniel Imhof
verpflichtet.
Schweigen. «Er ist mein Wunschkandidat», sagte Marcel Koller. Der
neue VfL-Coach hatte den kanadischen Nationalspieler in seiner Zeit
als Fußball-Lehrer in St. Gallen schätzen gelernt.

Maycoll Canizales is getting his chance with Hannover 96. He did well in an exhibition game today, playing the 1st half as an attacking midfielder. Hope to see him make the move up to the big team this year.
    One fan's comments:

"Canizales machte einen sehr positiven Eindruck, kann durchaus das Spiel gestalten und die richtigen Pässe spielen, wäre meiner Meinung nach der nächste Kandidat für den Aufstieg in den Profikader"

Rough translation: "Canizales made a very positive impression, he can read the play and make the right pass. In my opinion he would be the next candidate to move up to the professional team."

Maycoll Canizales has had a setback with an injury while with the Hannover 96 senior team. Meanwhile, Nik Ledgerwood and another amateur team mate (Christoph Jancker - was with the German U20s) are training with the big boys at 1860 Muenchen.
