Yes, The Montreal impact are the team no one saw as any magor threat to the FC in the Nutralite and now they are in there 5th match of the CONCACAF champions league and are undeafted and lead there division with several obviously solid wins including a 2-1 win over CD in there last meeting, and a combined 6-1 win over Joe Public FC (the team with the best name in the sport). Then they we're able to deseed the star team Atlante in an efford to claim the top spot in the division in the Championship league. The team is hoping to get an MLS expansion and there will be no better way to underline there already strong apeal then a move to the next round in the tourny. They have already strong i contention for a pass to the next round and only need a point to guarentee there conitinuation. How the got this far, or even how they are still preforming the results is incredible but we now have to shed the name underdogs and refer to the boys as.... the fighters. If all goes well montreal will walk out with a hard faught 2-1 win just like the last game.
Well. It doesn't matter what we predicted. They did what they had to, played great defence and didn't rely solely on it; enabling them to tie and move on, no matter what. On behalf of all Montrealais, I welcome whatever team we have to play in February to mountains of snow and -20 degrees! If you thought it was cold today, you've seen nothing! Allez L'Impact Allez.
