Jungwirth doesn’t even have a set position to play. He’s played LB, CB, CM and CDM.

 

Wow, Stahre must go, burning a second sub so stupidly, gives only one sub left chasing the game. Is he trying to win the Golden Spoon.

 

When is the last time he played well? He's been terrible since his first season under Kinnear. He can't be trusted to put in the effort or control his tackles. He's a constant question mark. Good players don't have these problems.

Stahre is an awful coach, but you can't blame him for Godoy's constant bad decision making on the field. That's who he is as a player, a selfish, foolish child.

And he's been bad at all of them. He is not MLS quality.

 

I’m not excusing this season. In fact, no ones played well this season aside from Hoesen and some bench players who make cameo appearances.

How many different CM pairing have we had?
Why are we playing a double pivot in the central midfield?
Those are things the coaches need to notice.

Not arguing there. I have complained endlessly about the lack of a proper midfield, but Jungwirth is not the answer. He's too slow of movement and thought. The midfielder needs to be the best player on the field and the midfield has traditionally been where the worst Earthquakes have played. It's incredible.

I was referring to the Godoy comment. And his inconsistencies having to do with an inconsistent pairing.

When we had Baca-Cronin, they weren’t the best midfielders but they played well with each other and got better over time. It wasn’t Baca and musical chairs for the second midfield spot every game.

 

So who thinks Ian Russel gets an interview at season's end?

That certainly doesn't help, but I think Godoy being the constant in that midfield was the problem rather than the other way around. I assure you, you won't miss him when he's gone. And for all our sake's I hope that is effective immediately.

Definitely. New cente mid pairing should have been done weeks/months ago. TT, Yueil, Hyka and Alashe all have good qualities that could grow in this wasted season.

 

I'm in the middle of the ocean and can't get the game, but that sounds exactly like one of our corner kicks.
