40k pounds a week is 2.75 million USD a year. For a player that managed to get 104 minutes in the Championship this year (and that was on a 4.8 million USD a year contract ). I'd say no way in hell, but this sounds like it has Colorado written all over it.
Too expensive to be a Colorado move. Though its certainly the type of player we'd overpay, just not by that much.
I know, I was only a quarter serious. More of me taking a dig at you guys for buying out the English Championship this year while the rest of the league (mostly) doubled down on talent from other places. Though at least you didn't spend TAM on a League Two player (have fun with the USMNT there Earnie!).
After the mutual termination of his contract Stefan Aigner is back in Germany, in the 3rd division. Enjoy playing in front of USL-sized crowds... Yeah, but their reported numbers are still less than our actual numbers (and way less than our reported numbers )
