"Monchi is a bigger joke than Sabatini."

One has won 5 UEFA Cups and one Super Cup in 15 years with Sevilla.

The other has kept Palermo and Roma afloat while making a nice Plusvalenza.

I'll let you crybabies figure out which is which.

Get a fcking grip. In Monchi I trust.

I would find it hard to keep Paredes in a human aspect if Seri comes (if EDF tends to play them in the same position). It could be that EDF is going to rock six midfielders but that means someone is going to be screwed, and younger players like Pellegrini and Paredes aren't going to accept that.

Salah made a choice to go - that's nothing to do with Monchi.
Manolas is an average defender who has never contributed to Roma consistently winning, while there's absolutely no space for Paredes if his SUPERIOR Pellegrini comes in. They're 2 different classes.

Only nonces are making fun of Monchi here. Where's Radja? Where's Dzeko? Where's De Rossi, Strootman, etc? Right here, showing no signs of leaving. The actually relevant players are right where they belong.
Fools. Fools everywhere, but mainly Twitter.
For Roma to grow, it has to be understood the likes of Manolas & Paredes would be laughed off the pitch if they played for the current teams who win leagues.

Then if/when one of the MF goes down we are right back to 4 MF. DDR is 34, Ninja plays with reckless abandon and we all know Strootmans history. There are more than enough games for everyone. Its just going to be that Ninja and Strootman aren't playing 90 mins in 45 games.

I can understand Salah, I could understand Paredes but manolas no! Pallotta in an interview said that juve wins because they have the same defence for years.. then why this every year?!??!???!

When ever did Manolas play 10 consistent games in a row without a pre-prime David Luiz brain fart? Never.
And on what earth is he anything other than average? He's not even good enough for Tottenham, nevermind the likes of Chelsea. So if you consider him to be good enough for Roma, you resign to the fact you'll always be behind the likes of them.

You think there's been no bids for Radja? Hahaha. Multiple. From every big club we can think of no doubt. And Monchi hasn't caved.

Don't pick apart what you do see and forget to give credit to what you don't see.

I love Manolas' speed and grit. I do not love his decision making.

And yes, lot of hope involved right now.

idk, this Manolas sale make no sense for either party really. Why in the hell would Manolas go to Russia? He definitely has talent and he could park himself at Roma for another year until more teams are interested in his services.

Awesome! I hope he isn't for sale lol

Going to Russia in your prime? Decision making was never Manolas' strong point.

Loved his grit, didn't love his rashness, not fond of his sale tag. Thought we could maybe fleece an English team based on Manolas' physicality.

It is a fact that Monchi said a week ago, "AS Roma is not a supermarket," and then a week later, Salah is sold (for 39m total, less than the 45m that was reported) and Manolas is being sold for 30m.

It is an embarrassing statement. If we are a selling club, then do not make a statement that insinuates we are not. Monchi is being mocked for this statement, which is a fact not based on anyone's feelings.

It is also is an incredible statement to Juve. We came in second, got our second highest point total, but are going to sell a major offensive player and one of the fastest defenders in the world and one of the best in Italy. You cannot win trophies if you retool the team every summer.

We can't do much business until July 1. It is just the way the fiscal years work.
