At Saturday's game, they announced that Mexican club Morelia would be coming to RSL on Wednesday, September 7. (I assume that's Monarcas, the first division club in Morelia.) But there's been nothing about the game on the RSL site (or the Morelia site). If it's true I and my son are pretty excited, since we've been following Morelia on the Mexican TV stations for a few years (though we speak no Spanish). Anyway, anyone know anything about the game? Edit: I also didn't see anything on the RSL Spanish site. But at least now I know how to say "Pioneer Day" in Spanish.
I approve. I think that I have seen at least one Morelia jersey so far at every RSL game I have been to. I think that Tri backup goalkeeper Moises Munoz is on their team.
There were a whole bunch of their jerseys in my section on Saturday. And you are right, Munoz is their keeper.
Apparently they had to cancel the Morelia match on Sept 7th. Team is currently attempting to schedule a different Mexican team (TBA) and will hopefully make an announcement in the near future.
