I would say at the moment Salah is head and shoulders above Suarez but that won't be enough to see Egypt go through this group but neither will Uruguay, Russia and KSA to the next round.

Salah undoubtedly has the best form atm but for me Suarez still is the better player. Will be interesting to see who can be the best fit for their teams tactic at the WC.

Salah be far better. In every aspect. Not even a competition.

Salah is better at the moment, but Suarez is an all-time great with pedigree at both club and international level. In fact, Uruguay has only lost one tournament match where he played, the relatively meaningless third-place game for WC10.

I'm gonna hate on him no matter what he does :) To be honest.

Salah has an amazing supporting cast at Liverpool, but the man alone can make all the difference. For me it's Salah. His time is now.

Suarez is going on 32 next January. He can still be unplayable, but the fact is he's not the same player he was in his Liverpool heyday and even then he didn't quite hit the same stride as Salah is doing now.

Salah is far better than Suarez. But salah alone cannot do anything, besides Suarez and Cavani will be very dangerous to the opponent.

Salah brings Egypt in world cup after 28 years. In the last qualifying match, salah's last-minute goal and their expression were incredible.

the real question is who will suarez bite this time. by the time uruguay play egypt and saudi, ramadan will be over, so suarez might think he will be allowed to feast on players again.

Salah is 26. He got more testosterone than Suarez. Messi 2012 before he turned 25 had 73 goals in a season. Was a straight beast. One you get married and have kids you lose ur beast mode, but play more efficiently.

You obviously don't treat the Seria A seriously, because he's done it for more than one season.

Why is this thread still open? Hasn't this been shown already? Whose team is going home? Whose team is still in it?

To be fair, Salah did not recover from the injury and Egypt is subpar. But I agree with you that Salah has to show more at the biggest stages to merit this comparison, it's a bit too early now.
