Hey I'm new to the site, so I may be doing this wrong. Recently I started kind of roaming around the site, but just made a account for a strange reason. I was messing around with a website for fifa, and to make a long story short I was looking to see if the new updates had the college players added from the mls draft (they do), but I also found a player I've never heard of, and was added to the database this week. His nationality is american and he is playing for colo colo in chile (for what it's worth he's regarded rather highly by the game) . His name is listed as Madou Jadama, I went to search about him as Mou Jadama on Wikipedia which I had to translate to English and it says he's American and Gambian. Also other small stat sites sometimes only have him as Gambian but some have him as both. I don't really know what to do with the info but I thought you guys may know. http://es.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mou_Jadama http://sofifa.com/player/150269-modou-jadama?hl=en-GB - fifa
This one took every ounce of my web sleuthing skills to unravel. I checked the club's web site. Lo and behold, he seems to be on it, listed as an Atlanta-born Yank. Modou Lamin Jadama Nombre: Modou Lamin Jadama Nacionalidad: Estadounidense Nacimiento: 17 de marzo de 1994, Atlanta, EE.UU. Altura: 1,85 mts. Peso: 80 kgs. http://www.colocolo.cl/jugadores/modou-lamin-jadama/equipo/primer-equipo/ Presumably that link is the source most other sites that might list the player are using. However, he was listed as a past Elon recruit and on those pages, he is called Gambian-born. http://www.elonphoenix.com/news/2011/2/21/MSOC_0221111533.aspx Also some kind of past possible link to RB Leipzig: http://www.rb-fans.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=4932&start=10 Also some past ODP involvement. Nice find and thanks, @Brotheryoungbuck. (The SOFIFA site, by the way, is not really a FIFA site -- it's a site related in some way to the FIFA video game. Still, obviously it has some useful data.)
SoFifa is a 3rd party website that transfers the FIFA (the video game) database online, and updates weekly. It's pretty nifty.
Hi, guys. The story on Mou is that he was born in Gambia and moved to the 'States at age 5: Atlanta, to be precise. Was adopted there by an American family and presumably as a result became a naturalized American. Later on, his biological family moved to the 'States from Gambia, as well (I have no idea if he moved in with them after that). But either way, Mou found his way to Chile at age 18, played at U. de Chile's academy (Colo Colo's most bitter rivals), went on trials in Italy for a bit and returned to Chile and joined Colo Colo's youth setup shortly thereafter. Apparently is pretty highly-rated and is probably a 4th choice CB as we speak. Recently made his 1st-team debut in a friendly against my team, Santiago Wanderers. Hope all of this helps! Cheers!
Top flight debut = Main forum? @bungadiri http://m.cooperativa.cl/noticias/de...wanderers-vs-colo-colo/2015-01-22/172623.html
Bump. MLJ is listed on Colo Colo's 1st team squad for this season: hasn't played either in Copa Chile (3 games in so far) or Apertura (started yesterday, Colo Colo beat Unión Española 2-1) but he could be CC's 1st CB off the bench. Looks like he's fighting for said spot with Chile U20 international Camilo Rodríguez. Will keep you guys posted.
He made his official 1st team debut today in a Cup game vs. Huachipato: came on for the injured Julio Barroso. I listened to some of the game on my way back from work and one of the comms mentioned he said Mou play in the U19s final last year for Colo Colo: very good in the air, has a powerful kick, can hit a free kick and during the PK shootout, shot his upper '90.
Coach JL Sierra decided to use a number of reserves in his starting lineup to face Ñublense today, incuding Jadama. http://www.dalealbo.cl/colo-colo-jugar-con-muchas-variantes-ante/ Per @HeartandSoul , Mou did start and got hurt: confirm?
He started today and unfortunately only played for about 13 minutes. He was subbed out due to injury.
Hi, guys! Didn't think it was right to open a new thread to post this but mods, please do as you see fit. Anyway, 2 young Yanks on trial at Colo Colo: striker Nelson Hunsinger and CB Chinenye Uche. http://redgol.cl/2016/5/hunsinger-y-chinenye-uche-los-exoticos-jug/ What do you guys know about them? Regards.
