that's exactly what i wanted to say. he missed 4 or 5 easy goals in every match recently.. i'm still confident he'll break more goals records though
The stats might be the same, since it's then possible that everyone else would be knocking in their misses. He really only missed one easy chance yesterday, and those happen to everyone now and then. Mane had a similar thing a couple of weeks ago.
The Qataris and their sponsors have said they went not biased, not in the slightest, when they awarded Mo best goalkeeper of the tournament to go with his best manager of the tournament trophy.
i’m glad to see him winning the best player of CWC and scoring last week, especially in watford game... keep that up Mo Salah
Who should have got player of the tournament? Henderson and Gomez were great in the final, but shaky in the first game. Van Dijk didn’t play the first game. Mo helped create both goals in the first match and had a good performance in the final. It could have gone to Firmino for scoring the winner in both matches, although he hardly played the first match. It could have gone to Alisson. However, there was no obvious candidate so Salah wasn’t a crazy choice.
absolutely. obvious choice imo. IIRC Mo had one good shot in the final game - great goalie save - but zero other than that.

sounds like it’s time to manufacture a controversy? (That said Mo should have gone to support Sadio).

It's especially interesting as some criticize him for being a selfish player who doesn't create for others .........
