Earlier they were astonished that the temperature could be in the 90's in Canada. Then the hair conversation. Really sounding ignorant, and not because they are from Texas, just ignorant in general.
That one too. Overall I only really enjoyed one of the MLS games this week, but there have been plenty of great moments.
I see no real reason to leave the US on most days. The rest of the world seems to want to come here and pay homage to me.
Sometimes when you watch Mapp play, you just shake your head that he didnt make himself a national team fixture. The guy has tons of skill.
To be fair, isn't CSN Houston unproven potential talent from other CSN markets thrown together to make a network? I guess that's not really an excuse either...
What the hell happened to Felipe? He's about a quarter of the player he was when joining the league a few years ago.
For me, Robinson and Davis are solid when they stick to what's happening on the field (and the meta stuff like injuries and conditioning that effect what happens on the field). Their inane banter is hit-or-miss; I like some of it, but I can definitely see how it's off putting for some.
When they are talking about soccer they aren't terrible, but they are cringe-worthy bad at trying to fill dead air.
Davis and Robinson have been involved with the club since it got here. Davis covered the game in Houston for years before that. Ricardo Clark on for Warren Creavalle. Good to see Rico back on the field.
I saw a goal! Nick Saban discusses the US-Germany game. This impression is killer: http://t.co/Gc97BkSLKB— Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) June 27, 2014
I hope you stayed for that wonder goal from Jack Mac. All kinds of good work from Mapp, but a beauty to be sure.
New England is the Netherlands of MLS. Houston is the Greece of MLS. (I fear DC United might be the Uruguay of MLS.)
