The BPL routinely draws higher numbers than the MLS in Canada. How in the world is the CPL going to survive in a country that doesn't even rate MLS in favor of better quality soccer overseas? The CPL will not be on par with MLS in talent and level of play. Who's really going to watch? I'm excited about the new league and hope it does well, but it'll likely just be a niche league.
Good morning 🇨🇦 we begin another week can anyone give me the address of the Canadian MLS office? #StillWaiting— A. Totera (@4totera) July 17, 2017
It must be tiring, tweeting that and then logging into all your different shill accounts to spread it around. I'd rather live my life.
I can live my life and still discuss on BigSoccer the apparent fact there is still no MLS office in Canada two months after Don Garber said there would be one soon. Walking and chewing gum. Soon is defined as 60-90 days, right?
I don't know, 3 of the top 10 average attendances in the league including 1 in the top 100 worldwide (TFC), double digit percent increases last season for two of the teams, and 3 teams that have already lasted longer than any major soccer team in Canada other than the original NASL Whitecaps seems to indicate they have some idea of what they're doing. But then those are just facts.
Oh I don't dispute your facts in terms of attendance, however, TV Ratings are embarrassingly low and Canadians live beyond those 3 cities. They aren't remotely close to what NBA, MLB and NHL does, not even the CFL who's ahead...by a mile. Those are facts as well
I know that given the time frames and investments involved in the leagues being compared its pretty damn good, but with plenty of room for improvement.
MLS has an office in the United States but not one in Canada. That is a relevant disparity considering the title of this thread is "MLS to open office in Canada."

They moved to NYC in 2008 and I haven't found anything to indicate they still have the Toronto office. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2008/07/27/realestate/commercial/27sqft.html
HQ is in NYC but the Canadian home office was in Toronto and they still retain some of their activities there. Not too far from the NHL Hall of Fame https://www.nhl.com/info/nhl-affiliates-member-clubs NHL Enterprises Canada, L.P. NHL Network Inc. CPL News>League head office has opened and is located in the heart of downtown Toronto #CanPL 🇨🇦— A. Totera (@4totera) September 4, 2017 Meanwhile...MLS Canadian offices still don't exist
Sources confirm to me that the Canadian MLS office will open in Toronto #Finally— A. Totera (@4totera) September 26, 2017
Not that I cared. But when I saw you posting I was SURE that the office had not opened yet. So... props for the update.
