If you click on 'My Team' then design your uniform you can select your favorite team there. Also I wonder if there's a hidden feature letting you pick whoever you want as a team if you select LA as your favorite.
Thanks...that seemed to work. I am now in the Real Salt Lake league. The only problem now is that I don't see any other teams in the league. Does anyone else have this problem? Can anybody see my team (FC IBIK) on their table?

My roster is so craptacular that I'm thinking of setting up permanent residence down there. Maybe I'll do some remodeling or feng shui. Then I remembered that everybody's roster is probably as bad as mine - can't wait to see them. The only hint I'll give about my roster is, beware the wrath of Dan Gargan. I notice you're at the top of the table...you've got a long ways to fall.

I'm trying to join the league, but the only option it gives is to login in with your Facebook account. Did MLS really make the game only operable via Facebook accounts? Edit: Never mind. I'm in. Dreggs FC, because I feel like I had to pick a lot of fringe players to complete the roster. My three RSL players are Fabi, Javi, and Olave. I feel pretty good about the majority of my picks, but I'm basing it off of memory from last years' games. I'm just hoping I do better than last year. IBIK has a new challenger for bottom of the table!
I am having a terrible time trying to pick a team. I have never really payed much attention to other players on different teams so I have no idea who even plays on the other teams. I'm afraid that all the players I picked are on the bench for their teams. Is there any way of finding out which players are actually likely to play each week?
Do y'all think Russell will be a starter with DC? I can't see why he wouldn't, but I just haven't heard much about DC this offseason...
If you go to each teams site you can pull up the stats for 2011 and make a judgement call on how good you think they'll be. And Senor, I took the same 3 RSL players I have a hunch that Fabi will do better than Sabo this year.
It came down to cost for me. Sabo is one of the most expensive players available. He's more expensive than Henry, Beckham, and Donovan. I'd like to know what metric they use to determine player costs. Only Montero and Wondo are more expensive than Sabo, who has the same price as DeRo.
I used the auto fill to make a team for me, which was horrible. Then just plugged players in/out until I mostly had a roster of people I wanted. It was a lot easier than trying to do it all manually and coming up 2 players short every time.
one of my favorite functions on this game is that you can make it so it sorts players by the % of teams that have selected them. As expected, some of the bigger names are at the top, however, it's also hilarious to see names of guys that are totally there just because of their low cost. For example, Erich Marscheider is the second highest selected GK overall. Nobody knows who the hell he is, but they all know he only costs 3.5. We now have 27 members fighting to be the Fantasy Kreis. (For those who don't see anyone in the official RSL league, I think it's normal. They'll probably show the standings after Round 1) Would it have killed MLS to make a better uniform designer? The templates and options given are pretty ugly. Including all the teams actual jersey templates and letting us go wild would've been amazing.
So is this thing supposed to be realistic? Meaning if I were to put LA as my favorite team I still have to be under the 100 point limit but for some strange reason only 50-75% of the players wages count towards the cap?
No, it was the only name I could think of. I had no idea who 90% of the players were. My teams going to suck.
