I'm planning to go also. I do not believe Reach 11 will be closed. LA closed their practices and scrimmages last year as well, but the times they played at Reach 11, they were open to the public.

I'm going to check it out. I'm going to bring my new toy to see if I can get some cool photos. Or will that cause trouble?

Shouldn't be, unless you decide to run onto the pitch. <grin>

Here is what I've been doing at the scrimmages I've attended. Scroll down a bit to see.

That is lame. Why close off a scrimmage? Aren't they trying to find fans in Arizona??? I'm bummed. Now what do I do today?

Do we actually know for a fact that these games at ASU are closed to the public? What happens if you try to go down there?

It seems like the Galaxy are the only team to ever close off scrimmages. Can somebody tell me if I am right or wrong?

info came from both the Galaxy and the Whitecaps. Shows what their own offices know.

They probably want to deter crowds because they don't have the staff to manage it which is understandable, but the gate was very much open and fans were there watching the Galaxy go to work.

For the Atlas x NY Redbull game in March at U of Phoenix stadium does anybody know if the box office at the stadium charges ticket fees like ticketmaster does? I want to go but don't want to pay the online fees for the tickets as they are very high.

I am positive its a no. When I bought tickets for the NFC Championship game (Eagles vs. Cardinals) there were no online fees through the box office.

I'm seriously thinking about going to see the Red Bulls, for me it's more of a problem with time than money though. Anyone else from here actually going to go?

depends if the tickets are over priced. The game is on a Tuesday and doesn't start till 8:00 pm.
If you buy the $10 ticket, then no. But if you buy the $95 ticket, then yes.

    Re: 2011 MLS Pre-Season

The FC Dallas website is listing two matches in Phoenix.

First is on Tues Mar 2 vs Montreal. No time or venue listed, but I'm being told it's at Reach 11. Gonna guess at start time of 10am or 11am, when every other scrimmage has been held.

The second is on March 7 vs RBNY. Again no venue or time. This would be against the RBNY reserves as they play Atlas the next day at U of P stadium.

    Re: 2011 MLS Pre-Season

The Tues Mar 2 scrimmage is at Reach 11 at 4pm.

Learned that by going up there at 10am. Stayed for a while as KC and Dallas were practicing on separate fields.
