The official thread about Mexicans in their prime playing in MLS.

To eliminate thread derails, we can keep the convo going here, for or against MLS moves (current or hypothetical).

I'm fine with any of our guys playing in MLS, Mexico, solid Euro first division leagues, and maybe top teams in South America. Just not Central America, Asia, 2nd division anywhere, or first division footy in some Euro country like Andorra or Macedonia.

So it's a yes from me, obviously.

Turkish league isn't a bad Euro league, though. And as far as unbearable, Central America, Asia and some of South America are all worse.

No, like even at their best form they seem to suck for the NT

Cubo and Gio are both young and have been "tearing it up" in the MLS for the past year

But look how they performed with the NT this summer

We've yet to see how Jona and Vela will both do though Vela has showed in the most recent qualifiers that he's already in MLS mode with how slow and non-existent he was

Gio hasn't torn anything since his first half season with Carson. Ever since the 2016 MLS season, he's been average at best.

Cubo unfortunately just can't perform at the NT level, it's been apparent since the 2011 U20 World Cup.
