    I wonder if the press will grill him on the team's player acquisition strategy and he can say "Though this be madness, there is a method to it." and when the big Danish signing falls through, he'll claim that "something is rotten in the state of Denmark"

    Actually, he would probably say that about his own location once he gets a whiff downwind...

    Portland has just cut McInerney loose. You really have to wonder about that guy. Proven goalscorers are such a valuable commodity in MLS, yet he can't seem to stick anywhere. It's pretty telling that Portland couldn't even trade him for a fourth-round draft pick.
