Cafe Rio is iconic in Utah, Arctic Circle is not. (Though I personally prefer Costa Vida.) Another option is one of the local Greek burger chains, 28th pastrami burgers. Or a churrascaria, like Tucano's. Or Bombay House, even though there are only two... But yeah, probably Cafe Rio.
It's not my turf, so I can't quibble about the iconic status of Cafe Rio, but Arctic Circle "invented" fry sauce. Short of a beehive, a nasty lake, or temple square, I can't think of anything more iconically Utah than fry sauce.
Fry sauce is iconic. Definitely. And wonderful. (Now I want it.) I don't think that extends to its place of origin, though. Arctic Circle is a forgettable regional chain. I've been thinking about Cafe Rio burritos since last night, and will fight LA traffic for at least an extra hour to get to Manhattan Beach later this week, because it's that good. If you have a Costa Vida or Cafe Rio nearby, it's worth it.
Tony Luke's sucks. Not even the best cheesesteaks, let alone iconic. Hell, we even have Chickie and Pete's at Talen Energy Stadium.
New England Revolution: Dunkin Donuts. Without a doubt. We give directions based on how many Dunkin's you pass before the next turn.
If you want to add Atlanta, I'd go with The Varsity. While Wendy's started in Columbus, White Castle has been Headquartered there longer. That said, both fit the city pretty well.
Half or two-thirds mayo, half or a third ketchup, often with a bit of garlic, dill, or other spice. Nothing like it for your pommes frites.
Freddie's is the only place I know of here that offers fry sauce. Now if they would just ditch those shoestring French fries .....
