Here is a fantasy tidbit that's kind of amusing. For $5.5 million, by no means the cheapest price for a forward, you can have New England's Tristan Bowen. And.... he's been signed by a certain number of out-to-lunch fantasy players.
Fellow Fantasy Owners: let me apologize in advance, but I need to vent, so I'm taking out my frustrations here. My offense had a great weekend, with 3 forwards and 2 mids all finding the back of the net. My problem is my defense. I've got 5 defenders on the roster, started 3, all who have played 90 minutes consistently for the last several games. This weekend, I had one out with an injury (Marquez, PHI, on my bench, no issue) but 3 others, including two starters, who inexplicably didn't play! Woodberry, Ellis (SKC) and Ramos (ORL). You lose a player this way from time to time, it's part of the game, and that's what auto-sub is for. But to lose 4 players at the same position (the one you can't sub another position for), what are the odds??? Since the two on the bench didn't play either, auto-sub didn't help me, and I ended up with two zeroes this week. End rant. Thank you for your time.
Kicking myself this week. With unlimited transfers available last week, I had placed Didier Drogba on my team. But at the last second, I chickened out because I was afraid he wasn't ready to play 90 yet. Big mistake....
