Minnesota United: 4 completed passes into the box in a whole game. That is bad. pic.twitter.com/QBTJC4khKz— Will Parchman (@WillParchman) October 13, 2018 Yes, that is bad when NOT playing the Rapids at home.
After conceding its 70th goal of the 2018 MLS season, Orlando City has tied the record for most goals allowed in a single season. Here's a breakdown of the goals. 31 GA under Jason Kreis 6 GA under Bobby Murphy (interim)33 GA under James O'Connor.— Mike Gramajo (@byMikeGramajo) October 14, 2018 2018 Orlando is now tied with 2017 Minnesota... with a few games left to play. 1051311399929036800 is not a valid tweet id Orlando, like Minnesota, appears to have no idea what they’re doing on the road. Story: Orlando City (7-20-4) hasn’t won a match since July 14 — O’Connor’s second match at the helm — and hasn’t scored a goal since Sept. 1, or, you know, five games ago. I can’t remember another MLS season with four embarrassing and historically bad teams comparable to San Jose, Colorado, Orlando, and Minnesota in 2018... usually there are 1-2 not four.
The great thing about parity is that - come back in five years and three of those four teams will be different.
Remember when Orlando came into the league, and many folks and their fans thought they'd be a perennial playoff team? Remember when some folks thought that Orlando's USL teams could compete for and make the playoffs in MLS? GOOD times!! MLS is way more difficult than many people realize, including "football people."
So much respect for what Bradley has done in 2018 with @LAFC and yet why do I feel he isn’t getting his due the way @ATLUTD did in 2017?! Honestly he’s done equal if not better job but what gives?! #MLS— Taylor Twellman (@TaylorTwellman) October 13, 2018 Good question.
I would also add. There is nothing funnier than the people throwing in the Fire first season into the mix like it was another coach. That was also Bradley.
It was also before he drafted Michael when he was coach of the MetroStars, or regularly played him as USMNT head coach. That's really when Bob started getting grief - the perceived nepotism. Despite the fact that I can't think anyone could make a coherent argument that Michael didn't actually deserve the playing time he got.
Bild in Germany is reporting ex-German International and TFC midfielder Torsten Frings is a prime candidate to become Vancouver Whitecaps' next head coach or not 1051484450834403328 is not a valid tweet id
And that is not necessarily because he is someone worthy of disrespect, etc. I think it's because Bradley's name connects to several things about LAFC that were not "New And FRESH" compared to virtually everything about Atlanta United. LAFC's Story: Recycled Chivas USA, Recycled head coach, Recycled attempt at second team in LA, lots of aging celebrities in ownership (done already by Seattle). Atlanta Untied Story: NEW Team in the hard to break into south, Famous coach from Not-USA, Ownership with strong NFL reputation, Extraordinary stadium shared with NFL team, but without the compromises
31 goals given up under Kreis in 15 games = 2.07 goals per game. 6 goals given up under Murphy in 2 games = 3.00 goals per game. 33 goals given up under O'Conner in 14 games = 2.36 goals per game Hmmm... methinks the problem wasn't the coach. In fact, all but 1 of Orlando's wins came under Kreis. Well done, FO of Orlando... well done.
Subscription needed, but an interesting article about the Rapids rebuild. Sounds like Howard, Acosta, and Ford are all on board with what current leadership is doing, but it make take another 2 years before it all comes together. *sigh* https://theathletic.com/576600/2018/10/12/rapids-rebuild-is-just-beginning/

Orlando doesn't even look like a professional soccer team... I mean... I just... I don’t know what to say. It keeps getting worse. This isn’t professional defending. https://t.co/ArjfSzPMSN— Sam Stejskal (@samstejskal) October 17, 2018 That's the kind of defense you expect from what is literally the worst defense in league history. First Sounders goal was even worse IMO. #ORLvSEA https://t.co/W7xvs6YgQ2— Matthew Doyle (@MattDoyle76) October 18, 2018 Is @OrlandoCitySC playing a man down?!.... 🤢🤮👎🏼 #MLS https://t.co/44Smy8AU5Y— Taylor Twellman (@TaylorTwellman) October 18, 2018
Cursory look through ye olde form guide tells me this is the worst 20+ game stretch in @MLS history. Worse than the 2001 Mutiny, 2005 RSL, 2007 TFC, 2009 RBNY, 2013 DC, worse than anything Chivas ever did.Woof. #ORLvSEA https://t.co/FSGXhciGAV— Matthew Doyle (@MattDoyle76) October 18, 2018
According to Martin Costa on @ClossAM590 ➡️ @LAGalaxy is interested in Dario Benedetto, they’re likely to offer a TON of money for him to depart in December.➡️ There’s also rumors the Guillermo will manage in the @MLS and will take Benedetto with him.
