That was a hell of a shot from Heber. Off the post.

Don't worry, Gordon Wild is on the bench to bang in a couple of late goals and get you a result.

Tonight the Union are hosting "alumni night". One former player that has returned is Toni Stahl, a player with the distinction of getting a red card 41 minutes into his one and only MLS appearance, in the Union's first ever game.

That got me thinking, is that the shortest MLS career in minutes for a starter in MLS history?

That was a nice sequence by Philly. Great cross, and an even better run and finish by Kacper.

    What a save by Robles!

Union score again. 2-0. 18 year old Aaronson.

I suppose I can focus on the Spirit match I'm at now.

    Hate Messing.

But it's quite funny that he hasn't worked out what to call NYCFC yet.

Shots 5-0, Corners 2-0, Score 2-0. DC isn't even competitive.

Why not have one from each broadcast team? They are after all playing in New York, it's not like they'd have to travel.:p

Danny Califf - first Union captain - chatting in the booth with JP and Tommy Smyth. Califf looks good, especially given the facial injuries he suffered a few years ago from an exploding e-cig (graphic photos here).

His ego may be. He's played poorly this season compared to last season.

I believe they replaced their red's (secondary) with white's this year.

True, and that is why I was wondering. First McKenzie wasn't getting in and now Trusty is out the lineup. Jack Elliott apparently is the Union's main man now.

Yowza...what a mess! I quit smoking in May, and I've never had the urge to pick up a vaping stick. Every so often I feel like I might want to take a drag or two, but if I had a pack in the house, it would be too easy to have one anytime I wanted it, whether I felt like smoking it or not. Unfortunately, the money I've saved on tobacco has gone to the local grocery store. Thus, I feel like I'm the size of a houseboat!

DC will finish 9th or 10th in the East.
