Wow is right. He has more head scratchers than he used to, but then has nights like tonight, too.

In live action, I thought that it had been headed right at Guzan … no sir, that was a stunner.

Crazy that Portland has no goal in this contest.

Barco and Pity's final balls are simply awful. I mean, what is up with those 2?

He is a terrific 1 v 1 defender, in space. If he cleans up his awareness in traffic, he will be a monster.

For me it was a penalty.

I'm torn on whether the VAR should have recommended an on-field video review because I haven't seen more than one angle, and I've heard a few people say they think there was a slight touch on the ball. The one angle I've seen doesn't really support that, but based on PRO's recent precedent, it would be enough to keep it from being a clear and obvious error if there was indeed a little touch before the trip.

Never would have pegged this road date for a shutout win but sometimes that's how it happens. Great saves by Guzan, a few wasted chances by Portland, and Atlanta was able to capitalize on a couple of their own chances. Onward and upward.

    Good FYP there

I do not understand how Chara or Alonso ever play 90 minutes in a match
