Well these last five minutes have been insane.

 

...and another shitty week of MLS comes to an end.

 

I know the saying is "steal a point", SKC out here stealing 3.

 

And the points were certainly needed. Sporting would have been cast into the role of 'spoiler' in the West had it lost. Now, the team has a glimmer of hope to compete with the likes of RSL, Dallas, Portland, and Houston for a playoff spot.

 

The West is going to be a damn knife fight. 3 teams tied for second on 38, LAG one point behind them, and RSL in 6th only 3 points back from them. FCD is a point behind but has played an extra game while Portland is only 2 point behind them with 2 games in hand and only 1 away game. And Houston and SKC are really only a short run from pulling their way into the fight.
