How in the world did Zardes not score there? It is like he just ... stopped. And that was a nice play in midfield by Trapp to start it off.
Saw it from the 30th row. FC Cincinnati looked pretty good for the first half. Second half started even. First goal was a misplay by an FC defender giving Gamara a 1 on 1 against Richie. Cincinnati should have made changes and adjusted earlier. They definitely fell off from the initial high. I expected a slog if a year as a new expansion team, but this ridiculous. They still hadn't been able to complete the GM hire. Then a coach. Maybe we can make some changes in the summer transfer window.
Great shot by the guy who struggled to put his shoe back on just a few minutes earlier. 3-2 Colorado.
Columbus was from minute 55 to 75 or so. Since 80, all Colorado. And there it is! Great goal from Mezquida.
There was a DisCo decision recently that seemed to indicate that the league wants that shit cautioned. Altidore got fined, I think.
The broadcast missed the card and it was a little unclear when it happened. I don't know what he was thinking.
Frustrated about something no doubt. It's the sort of thing the referees probably would have let go with a very stern warning in the past, but we're living in a post-Kaku world.
I don't know if it showed up on the broadcast but after this goal Howard grabbed the ball and punted it straight up and back behind. It cleared the stands hit the concourse behind the corner, bounced straight up onto the roof of the stadium in that corner and rolled away. Unless there was a lip on the other side of that roof it would have rolled down into the grassy area on the edge of the parking lot. First time I've ever seen a ball hit the concourse on the fly at the Dick (I've seen them bounce off of seats onto the concourse), though reportedly a few years ago in one of the friendlies we played Jared Watts cleared a ball onto the angled roof on the East side. Conor. Who now has reached 25% of the win total that Anthony Hudson had in his whole MLS career.
Manchester United would like to speak with you about "Hey, the old coach we hated is gone"syndrome. It never lasts but it saddles you with Ole Gunnar.
