Well, that is Pity. Any sort of contact and his legs go out from under him. Happened a couple times in the game against the Union.
Good grief, is this a change of trajectory. That's a great shot from Benezet; I'm glad I got home from work in time to watch this live.
They're going to kill me with this. I'm not a betting man, but I've got roughly $900 riding on the result (airfare to Seattle minus gas money to Atlanta). C'mon Atlanta!
I sometimes think that if they let Josef only shoot at the upper-90s on PKs he would do better. At least he didn't do the stutter step.
Too casual there from TFC. Part of that is on Bradley but there is no need to hit the pass to him there. The defender has to see that a pass there leads to Martinez being able to immediately press Bradley.
I will say that I don't think a lot of this calls would have been made if the same referee was used from the LAFC - Seattle game.
DeBoer did something smart: He told his team to get on Delgado and in possession stay away from him. I'll bet Delgado has had fewer touches in the first half than he has had in any other game. As I say that 45' Delgado on the ball undisturbed and Toronto threatens.
This game hasn't lived up to the early promise, at all. Tense, as a game like this is wont to be but somehow, the playoffs to this point have not been.
