You forgot to mention the Rapids. We have soccer-family MLS 1.0 meets the Plague. It's very Halloween actually. Shame we never make the play-offs.
I watched part of the Vitesse/Ado den Haag game over the weekend. 12.5k in a 21.5k stadium and you could occasionally hear some chanting. I'm sure in the stadium it is better but the Rapids on TV aren't any worse than a continual Europa League from the Netherlands. Could things be much better in Denver? Yup. But it is by no means as embarrassing as people like to make it out to be (unless all they do is watch EPL and Bundesliga). Edit: Also, anyone that has ESPN+ should treat themselves to some of the best of the rest (so to speak) of the soccer world that is available. Watch some non-Ajax/PSV games and see how those games stack up to MLS. Or watch Malmo/Hammarby play on turf with a former NYCFC forward playing as an outside back like I did the other day. Interesting if all you ever see are the UCL/EPL/Bundesliga games.
I don't understand why TT has to say the Roldans, Svenssons, etc of the world when he is specifically talking about Seattle. Just say the space is open for Roldan, Svensson, or whoever else he is talking about that is on the field for Seattle.
Side note: Meanwhile, I'm not baseball fan but it is fascinating that the World Series is potentially facing a 7th game without a single home victory.
Lodeiro has been great for Seattle since he got there. I think they are going to have a harder time replacing Ruidiaz then him though if they sell Raul this off-season (been rumored interest in France).
They mentioned in the broadcast that in the three US sports that do a best-of-seven format for the playoffs, there's never been a series where the away teams won 6 games.
I'm not apologizing for anything. We literally have the plague, that is unique. https://www.denverpost.com/2019/08/03/colorado-rapids-fans-embrace-plague-with-costumes-chants/ https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/aug/02/colorado-rapids-plague-scare-commerce-city
Seattle are dominating 2nd half. I don't like either of these teams. I really do feel like Sisyphus. At least tomorrow there is Toronto. I like them.
Ruidiaz … what a player! I wonder, if this result holds, how Bob will answer the sideline reporter if he gets asked a question about his players stepping up in big games.
