I don’t believe Seattle had a waiting list. I also haven’t seen any mention of ECS or any other SG not coming back next year. It’s more individual actions rather than a group action.

Leagues Cup final with 20,132 in Vegas - solid, but not exactly setting the world on fire.

Why was my post about Canadian championship attendance removed? Two MLS teams were involved...

Anyway, it was 10807 in Montreal for leg 1 of the final.

Capacity of Sam Boyd is 36,800. Perhaps they had some stands closed?

I meant to say I thought I heard that it was completely sold out well in advance.

For a new tournament that MLS teams didn’t care about with no MLS team in the final game Played at a neutral site. I respectfully disagree.

I know I have said it many times...New England could be up there with Seattle in attendance if the owners put any effort to it.

I think we finally have our first NFL media tweet about soccer lines on the field!

    Yes! This is great!

but the Raiders do play baseball diamond.

It was nice to see they painted the football lines, numbers and logos after the Galaxy game.

    Not anymore :(

"Sunday’s home game against the Chiefs will be the final one that overlaps with the A’s schedule and thus will be the final NFL game to feature a weird baseball imprint on the field; after that, the Raiders do not return to RingCentral Coliseum until Nov. 3, a few days after any World Series Game 7 could be played (the A’s currently are in the thick of the American League wild-card chase)."

That was from September 12th, that last game has been played, and since cities/states just love to throw money at rich sports team owner's for any and every stadium they might need, the days of dual baseball/football (and even soccer back in the day!) stadiums are forever* gone.

    *probably

The Chargers are in LA because San Diego and California refused to throw money at them.

They wanted to be in L.A. regardless. As of now it looks like a mistake, though Spanos has achieved the franchise value increase he wanted. So maybe not a mistake.
