As one week of MLS action ends, another quickly begins! The race for the playoffs is on!! Well, unless you are San Jose, Colorado, and Orlando that is. As always keep it neutral in the N&A game thread. All game times are eastern, and national TV games are noted. Games can be seen on ESPN+. With their playoff hopes hanging by a thread and a must-win game on Saturday at NYRB, the real question is by how many goals will TFC lose to Tigres? 6? 7? 8?
A home game! We have a home game! After seven weeks, we'll actually have a home game! Thank you, O benevolent DonGarber! Thankyouthankyouthankyou...
Do you think maybe this 7 week road trip had something to do with the Gophers early season schedule? I totally get that folks like to just blame Garber for everything that goes wrong, but when you're team currently doesn't control their venue they are at the mercy of their landlord when it comes to scheduling.
Knowing TFC. They will win that game and be up 3-0 to NYRB only to lose 5-3 and pretty much eliminate themselves from playoff contention.
While this sounds funny, but considering how many 3 goal leads TFC has blown this season, this is not impossible scenario.
Can't get in trouble for watching MLS at work on Wednesday if nothing kicks off until after close. *taps forehead*
Let's hope San Jose's dead cat bounce is done before they endanger the Sounders win streak that they will most certainly still be on by the last game of the year.. Supporter's shield or bust!!
I'm more upset than I should be that this stupid Campeones Cup is on ESPN, but the Champions League itself isn't on English-language TV at all. Like, it's typical American soccer, but ******** it's irritating.

Trivia question: Which team(s) leading goal scorer has the least number of goals compared to the other teams' leading goal scorers? Did you say San Jose? You're wrong. Did you say Dallas? You're wrong. Did you say Chicago? You're so wrong. Did you say Colorado and Seattle? You're right! Badji and Lodeiro lead their respective teams with 7 goals.
Good thing the Sounders lead the league with fewest goals against.. Despite having the third lowest goals for, the Sounders have the 7th best goal differential.
https://us.soccerway.com/teams/united-states/colorado-rapids/2278/ says the most goals for Colorado by a player they still have is 3 by two defenders, Edgar Castillo and Tommy Smith. It also says "E-mail RapidsFanMail@pepsicenter.com and considering they don't play at Pepsi Center is that accurate?
The first is absolutely (3 goals leads the current Rapids), the second likely is. For years, even after the Dick opened, the business side of the Rapids was run out of the KSE offices at the Pepsi Center and everyone (Rapids, Avs, Nuggets, etc. employees) had @pepsicenter.com addresses. Now pretty much anyone working for just the Raids works out of the Dick and the teams have their own domains. Quite possible that the generic addresses were never updated though.
