BTW, if you leave your device for viewing television on the FS1 station, you'll be seeing a Liga MX match in about 35 minutes.
Highly suspect 2019 CCL qualifying standings for "U.S. team with best aggregate record in 2017 and 2018 MLS regular seasons". 1. ATL GP 58 Pts. 103 - 1.776 PPG 2. NYC GP 57 Pts. 101 - 1.772 PPG 3. POR GP 54 Pts. 90 - 1.667 PPG 4. CLB GP 57 Pts. 90 - 1.589 PPG
You missed the Red Bulls, who have 94/56 = 1.679 points per game. Atlanta has the most games played and most home games played of the top clubs in either conference. They have more points per game away than at home, and are on pace for 11 away wins. That would be the third most in MLS history behind Los Angeles in 1998 and D.C. in 1999, who had 13 each, and there were shootouts then. NYCFC had 72.6% of the possession and 80% of the fouls. Since players commit fouls mostly when they don't have the ball, I think it would be rare to have that high a percentage of the possession and fouls.
Is this a bad time to point out that the new US national team whipping boy, Tyler Adams, had another monster game for the Red Bulls in the center of the park?
And a week after playing him on the right in a game where the Red Bulls gave up 3 goals in the first half.
Exactly. Pointed out in last weeks thread that Davis got absolutely murdered in the middle against the Crew (someone that certain posters continue to say is better in the middle than Adams). It was so bad that Davis was subbed out at the half, down 3-0, and Adams moved more centrally. RB then "won" the 2nd half, 2-0. Then today's game. If Adams has an even average game, all his detractors mob the thread to tell us how he isnt any good in the middle and is only being built up by the evil MLS/SUM cabal, trying to hype him for their nefarious marketing purposes. Adams said F U again yesterday.
You’re just upset Seattle disappointed you by being on the brink of toasty heaven before being resuscitated!
Seattle was never that close to being toast. Had they truly been close, the thread would be up by now.
And I’m supposed to take your word on this? I want to see evidence, statistics even, showing how close each team was, or currently is, to being toast!
MLS fans everywhere want to know if DC United's front loaded road schedule has toasted them already, or if there are special exceptions when a team plays 12 of its final 15 games at home.
What Manny Lagos does in the next 36 hours with that $350,000 in GarberBucks will go a long way in determining how soon the Loons are toast... Get a serviceable #6 that closes down the Interstate highway that runs through the center of our defense, we might hang around a bit. Maybe even win a road game. Spend it on another winger...or worse, not spend it at all...or worst, sign Vadim Demidov's cousin's sister's boyfriend who saw Ferris pass out in 31 Flavors last night? Toast, baby.
