Nemeth has a really good chance there. Needs to put it on goal.

It is a bit surprising to me that such an excellent former goalkeeper has managed to get a team like the Revs to play such great attacking ball, but can't seem to find the right mix on the defensive end.

Bunbury got scared there. He should have run through the ball, as he was clearly going to get there first, but he seemed to be scared of the keeper.

Yeah. Everything was there for the standard draw the PK and yellow on the keeper there but they both pulled out.

In case you haven't been counting, we're now up to 24 goals tonight (that's a 4.00 gpg average).

I have to believe the scoring isn't over in this late game.

Not expecting the Saudi Arabian juggernaut to put 3 on the board?

What possessed the Revs player to protest that yellow card? Gimme a break.

I don't know who she is but I like this Danielle lady providing (sideline?) commentary on the San Jose broadcast.

San Jose's broadcast crew has really come a long way from what they were a few years back.

Danielle Slaton, former WNT player born in San Jose. She's great. Typically a sideline reporter, she has filled in for Dangerfield as analyst at least once. She is incorporated into the broadcast the way Minnesota does with Jamie Watson. And you're definitely right, the other two are made better with her involved/engaged.

What happened there? Was there any indication of VAR before the subs? I was at the game (I can't explain) and I didn't see the ref indicate VAR until after 3 subs.

    1) That was annoying as a fan, way to use the dead ball time, guys. Though I guess the ref can't be doing both.
    2) More notably, the timing seemed a gift to the Rapids, as Chicago made their 3rd sub, and subbed Gordon for a fullback (Ellis). The Rapids still couldn't score on a 10-man lineup with 4 forwards.

The high foot raked the studs into the opponents face.

The referee wouldn't have allowed the subs if he knew the VAR was checking for a potential red card. It was an odd situation where no one expected a red card (it was one) and subs were immediately ready to come on. I brought up on the ref forum that I think there was a strong possibility that if the subs weren't ready to go, that Colorado takes the FK fairly quickly before the VAR has a chance to intervene and the red card is never given.

Well with the draw the Rapids stop their losing streak at a tied for 3rd worst post-shootout 8 games and tied for 2nd 9 games in all competitions, A 9 game winless streak in the league is halfway to the record.
