Succession planning for Larentowicz? Are you allowed to do that?

ATL UTD isn't just willing to spend the money, they have a legend of a coach who is a magnet for these types of players. I can't imagine that Tata Martino will be at ATL UTD for the rest of his career, so how many of these young, talented South Americans guys will stick around after he leaves? And how many more will they be able to attract?

And seriously, how many INTL slots does this club have?

ATL only has 7 (traded one away). They have 10 Internationals on their roster, but 3 are out on loan, so they don't take up a slot.

They will still need to acquire a slot for Remedi. Somehow, little obstacles like that don't stop other GMs the way they stop Burns...

And they don't tend to get "caught off guard" when an out-of-contract player with options can quadruple his salary elsewhere, and decides to do just that...

The ATL FO knows the league/SUM cheat code and got unlimited intl slots.

They'd be paying him down with TAM which isn't out of the question.

Revs could certainly use a boost to their back line. This back 4 will never win a trophy

He already rejected their first offer although they are still pursuing him. He's still got 2 years on his contract at Stoke so they'd have to pay a transfer fee.

Yeah not to mention he's from Attleboro, 20 minutes from Gillette. The upside is he's a local guy, a USMNTer, though he's 33 in a week. Based on what we've seen so far, I doubt Friedel takes a flyer on him (especially at that price). If he was available on a free, then maybe but I doubt it.

Transfer fees don't have any impact on the salary cap though. I'm just saying, I think they can make it work.

I watched the highlights (lowlights?) of the MIN/TOR match. Bobby Shuttleworth is still vulnerable to the long distance shot, just as he was here, but his defense hung him out to dry on the other two goals.

Luckily for the Loons, Toronto's defense is even worse, and Clint Irwin is vulnerable to the chip shot....

From your keyboard to God's laptop...

My fear is that Burns considers recalling Segbers from USL and Angking's return from illness as "summer additions".

"We're doing really well right now, and if the season ended today, we'd be in the playoffs! Why do we need to spend a lot of money on guys who we are not sure if they would really be a needle-mover, and besides, they might disrupt team chemistry?"
