Yeah, good luck to them... They are going to have to change their style of play to just lobbing balls into the box. At some point, he'll probably get injured, and their entire team is revolving around him, well, it's going to get ugly...

But they'll be getting lots of attention to take the focus off the new kids in town,

Ibra makes sense for the Galaxy IMO. He's not even a DP. They can keep their style of play, and use him as a target forward for Gio to play off of. Plus Boateng, Pontius and Alessendrini are all excellent crossers. Unlikely that he'll last 90 minutes, but that's fine since they have Ola Kamara. And when they need a goal, they just take off a defender and play with both Kamara and Ibra. Obviously he'll sell jerseys, but I think he won't have trouble fitting in soccer-wise.

This instantly turns the Galaxy into a serious contender. The x factor is the length of the season and physicality. But if he can handle the prem he can absolutely handle MLS. LA sucks but he will score easily 15-20 goals if he stays healthy.

Let's be honest, Zlatan only loves himself. And he's awesome at it.

I agree, he's doing his part to make sure there are enough real-life larger-than-life comic strip characters among us.

Galaxy come to Foxboro July 14th, but sounds like Zlatan will get the Beckham treatment and won't be playing on turf.

I think the only time Thierry Henry played here was his last game, the Eastern Conference Final in 2014.

So, that is a minimum of 2 goals each game, and an average of 3.4 G/gm.

Well, it was right around the time the MetroStars finally put the shovels to the dirt that RedBull stepped up to buy the club.

Tough night for RBNY last night as they absolutely dominated a Mexican squad that basically sat in on a 1-0 lead. Shots were 20-1 in favor of RBNY, 9-0 on goal ... but they couldn't find the net and so lost 1-0 (agg) to Chivas.

Chivas will now face TFC in the CCL finals, after a 1-1 on the road (4-2 agg).

Despite the facts that NYRB dominated in the air (except in the Chivas 18), were first to most loose balls, and seemed to control the midfield, Chivas never really looked like they were in trouble, and to me seemed more likely to score than Red Bull. I think this is the approach that BF is taking.
