City of Bridgeview needs the money and I'm sure XFL would like a team in Chicago (well 12 miles outside of Chicago).

I still think MLS stadiums are the most likely of any to be used.

Like I said.. a few.. The last XFL had teams in NJ, LA, Chicago, Orlando, Las Vegas, Memphis, Birmingham, and San Francisco.. That’s only 4 MLS cities, 5 if you count San Fran.

The average XFL attendance at Soldier Field was around 15,000, so Bridgeview might be a better fit.

Posted in the other thread, but LA1 or 2, NYRB, and Chicago Fire each have solid places which may be available. Then looking at some of the largest cities without the NFL, there's Portland, Orlando, Salt Lake, and Columbus. Each pretty solid for what the XFL is likely to want. Don't think there are viable stadiums in San Diego or St. Louis, or in Sacramento unless there's an MLS club granted. Don't be surprised if most of that league plays in MLS facilities.

Current rumor is that he isn't coming until June. Too late to sell season tickets.

That's why numbers are reported as Season Ticket Equivalents. That way they can sell half season tickets and count 2 half season tickets as 1 full season ticket equivalent.

Can't blame them. It was -15 C (3 F) during the match. One of the coldest soccer matches ever.

Also interesting that it states that the 84% show up rate prevented the team from reporting "what would have been considered sell outs in terms of tickets sold". (And that they expect to sell out every game this year.)

This appears to be confirmation that TFC uses turnstile numbers instead of tickets sold. So presumably their reported attendance would be higher if they (as I understand the other teams to do) used tickets sold (or distributed) instead.
