I think things were different back then and the capo-less system worked better with a core group of people. Then the core dissolved for one reason or another and the section pretty much fell apart. And Thoma moved away I am not connected with any of the supporters groups but I gather that the decision to add a capo for the Portland game was not an easy one, nor was it very popular. But it went ahead.
Go outside, roll around in the grass, come back inside and take another shower so Columbus can score two more. edit: Fuck.
You sure can hear that capo loud and clear on the broadcast. In fact it only highlights how quiet the rest of the stadium is. The supporters group sounds about as loud as they do at Tulsa Roughnecks games.

Portland picking up yellows and silly fouls just from laziness, slowness, and poor tackles and challenges.
Hmm. Higuain didn't seem to be the victim of too hard a challenge but he is looking like he's really hurt. EDIT: Nope, all healed. It's a miracle.
First-match using a capo learning curves. Simple rule of thumb though: Start the chant, then shut the f up and let your people work.
"Gregg Berhalter's system is all based on positioning and angles." More insight from your Columbus announcing crew.
