Are we not doing MLS pbp threads anymore? Or did Philly get relegated ...

    Good news, guys!

We're on day closer to the start of the toast thread.*

    Aren't you all excited?

    * Whenever that is.

I'll tell you one thing, if LAG was close to toast, the Toast Thread would have been started by now. Because lord knows I'd be rubbing that in day after day. #SaveCurt

But as long as the only teams toasted or close to toast are teams I can't be bothered with much these days (I'm looking at you, freaking DCU), then I see no need to deviate from my usual launch date.

Tags lack toast and any mention of promotion and relegation.

Do the announcers have to say Crew S.C. every single time they say the name? It sounds so forced and ridiculous. Crew is fine.

Also, @Boloni86, why are you so eager to nothsA eriH?

    Because that is the alternative.

I believe the team demands that these day.

Ostentatious Crewligans and their hoity-toity pretensions.

You'd think they were from Cincinnati.

I'm on the Giovanni Savarese bandwagon. I've sunk so low that I'm begging a Red Bull reject to save me.

Your problem is you still care.

If you stop giving a damn and just accept DCU as the theater of the absurd that it is, then it's much easier to take.

    Nihilism is good like that.

Even hoity-toity teams in the most popular leagues don't demand this. It sounds so stupid.

The play out of the back for the Union is absolutely terrible.

Karmic justice. That was a garbage decision to take the PK away from Sapong. He's a reliable PK taker and he earned this one. I don't like that. In situations like that the coach needs to intervene and go with the hot hand.
