MLS 2017 season (other teams) [R]

LA is the third MLS team to fire Onalfo mid-season (KC and DC the other two).

 

OK, those of you who were wondering who might be desperate enough to take the Revs job, well, there's your man! Onalfo would be a perfect fit, because everyone knows his streak of mid-season firings will come to an end if he ever took this job...

 

So, while the Revs are out signing Audi to be the team's official luxury vehicle, other teams are actually out signing players....

And we allegedly made offers to players who turned us down. Were they offering $750,000 contracts to guys who had other clubs offering $1.25M? Or was it something else?

I don't know much about these guys, but it sure seems that other MLS clubs are able to sign guys in that reaonable mid-rage, so why can't we? (that was a rhetorical question, BTW)

 

Onalfo won the trifecta! Lucky guy.

I like all 3 of those for DC if they all come to pass. Certainly won't fix this year but that should give them something to build on for next year.
