    Great publicity move by Ricardo Silva. It's not like Mls would be able to accept the offer anyways because theres probably provisions for how the next tv contract will be up for bid in the current tv deal. World soccer talk has gone down the toilet now, it's a shame.

    I'm not saying I want promotion and relegation, but if MLS made as much TV money as MP & Silva is offering, MLS could afford parachute payments to relegated clubs like the Premier League (and maybe other leagues) give. It would be a scary thought for the Red Bulls or NYCFC to be relegated while their rival remained in MLS.
