Okay! It's actually what my logic and reason also advised, but the Betas have got some nice reviews also.
I got a pair of the Rebula 3 Pro from Prodirect Soccer and they didn't send me a shoe bag. Isn't that the norm with all Mizuno cleats?
I know that the MIJ ones come with a bag and cleaning kit but not sure about the Elite and pro, usually you get the bag with top models (at least Adidas, Nike and Mizuno)
Have you had the chance to actually test the new Morelia already? Will there be a review upcoming in your site?
Hey, sorry I took so long to repsond. Yes I will have a review. I am currently testing the new Morelia and they're brilliant so far.
would love a reverse, black-gold It's the "victory pack" release; Neo 2 and morelia will hv white-gold....posted above earlier...

I have worn my Rebula 3 pros now for about a month, and I must say it takes a little bit of getting used to. Normally, I wear 27.5 cm/US9.5, and decided to try 27.0cm/US9; it is a tad tight and I normally wear 2 pairs of socks. I might just wear one pair, but I have always worn 2 in the past. I play just fine and the cleats are solid with great leather in the forefoot and tongue area.
I just dropped my review on the new Morelias! https://gaijinbootblog.wordpress.com/2020/02/13/mizuno-morelia-ii-japan-review/
What was the difference between Morelia Is and Morelia IIs? And if the changes in this new boot are significant, why are these not Morelia IIIs?
The differences between 1 and 2 are pretty big. I wrote a post about the changes they made for the new Morelias here: https://gaijinbootblog.wordpress.com/2020/01/02/mizuno-morelia-2-japan-is-updated-and-released/ As far as naming goes, they were going to call it Morelia III but they decided to keep it slightly the same so that it's the same as the other silos Morelia II Japan Morelia II Elite Morelia II Pro Morelia II Club Its the same as the other series now, for example Rebula 3 Japan Rebula 3 Elite Rebula 3 Pro Rebula 3 Club Hope that helps!
I have always worn 27.5, which fitted perfectly except for the toebox which was too tight. Do the heel counter improvements mean I could go up a size?
The Rebulas also have more aggressive grip compared to the Morelia, because the studs are little longer and much narrow compared to the typical conical studs that come with the Morelia.
Anyone has some inside info or at least educated guesses on what Mizuno will still do/release this year? And if so then when. I'm thinking of ordering the new Morelia model, but if there is Neo update or new Rebula model (just an example) around the corner then I'd maybe want to wait. There has been rumours that it's a huge year for Mizuno but I have no info whatsoever what's going to happen.
First off, I'd get the new Morelia model because it's absolutely brilliant. I'm pretty sure both the Rebula and the Morelia Neo will get updates this year and since it's the 35th anniversary of the Morelia, we should be seeing a lot of unique Morelias pop up.
Yeah I guess you're right as usual and I should just buy those. But I'm a difficult customer and although they released three different models (4 colours now?) there wasn't a perfect fit for me since I prefer black but also want a short tongue Maybe I'll just get the cross stitch version. You mentioned the thing that it "runs a slightly long", but I guess and hope you mean like really slightly right? My Rebulas and Neos are perfect on size 27 cm so I don't really want too much extra space. Your blog and Kohei's are great sources, but in general there has been so little detailed looks on the new Morelia. I don't like how the whole boot industry revolves around Nike and Adidas (and I guess Puma a bit nowadays)
Yeah, I wish they still made the black with a short tongue. But the new cross stitch is pretty nice! If you look hat my review you can see the size difference between the new ones and the old ones. Not everyone needs/will want to go half a size down. Which Rebulas are you using right now? Thanks! I appreciate when people read my blog. Kohei does great stuff. He's definitely one of the best when it comes to breakdowns. But you're right, I wish there was more people covering the new Morelia. I can't stand that everything is centered around the big three. There are so many good boots out there, especially Mizuno. Gotta smash the big three!
Prodirect has some Wave Cups laying around https://www.prodirectsoccer.com/p/m...e-cyber-yellow-firm-ground-mens-boots-194215/
