YUP.......Japan retailers on Wed, 18th July! I hope they do the studs on those translucent material......instead of solid black the Runbird logo in those reflective metallic black (like adidas core black collections) wud be nice..... but looks like it's just my "wishlist"......
Newbie here. I have been looking at Mizunos for a while and haven’t pulled the trigger until now. I probably won’t be able to afford MIJ models but is it a huge difference from MIJ’s to the next model down? Does sizing fluctuate between models? Is the leather still k-leather? I am looking at Morelia Neo II’s. I am totally open to opinions and feedback. Are they true to size?
so.. kohei has the new boots out but the description... First of all, Morelia 2 & Morelia NEO 2 of this time is the appearance feature that it is " black out " color. And it is a big point that not the Scotch Guard Kangaroo Leather as the material of the upper, but the cow's leather in Japan, "Wagyu Leather" is adopted. As a result of sticking to Japan made exclusively, it is a special specification adopted premium Japan leather (tanner finished Japanese made cowhide). hot dang i'm getting hungry LOL

Wagyu beef is melt in your mouth butter meat I'm sure the leather is just as good. Actually, I'm currently in the land of Wagyu beef in Japan and will check out Kamo and other stores in the next few days. Maybe a birthday gift if I can convince my wife
someone on twitter said it will be Limited edition to 1985 for the Morelia 2 and 2000 for the Neo worldwide and 450 and 100 in Japan. Kamo website indicates that they sold out of the Morelia 2 even though it goes on sale on Friday.
Huh, that's disappointing. I guess a higher price than usual would be okay if they're using an even more premium type of leather, but I really, really dislike limited releases. Here's hoping the regular models will receive a discount soon...
They are sold out almost everywhere online in Japan already. I think Soccer.com will have some too. I think some stores are getting more of the red Morelia as well.
There are very different qualities of leather. A calf skin can be better than a k-leather. You can see it on the Italien brands like akuna
Anyone know what the Indonesian made ones feel like on foot? I have had MIJ morelias for a while so I have been spoilt but I just can’t justify 460 Australian dollars for a pair of boots the Indonesian ones seem much more affordable
I went to Mizuno flagship store in Osaka and Kamo in Osaka. The Mizuno store said they will release them Friday but they only will have one per size. Kamo were accepting reservations and had few sizes left. As you said, all online stores are sold out in Japan. Prodirect and Soccer dot come have them now and they seem to have more quantities than what is available here in Japan.
is it possible that the mizunos MIJ sold in Japan have a different fit/size than the Mij morelias sold in the UK? I bought a pair from pds then a year later bought a pair from japan and I'm sure the japan ones fit smaller. it could be possible I grew a bit but I'm a bit old for that
