recently bought a pair of Indonesian made rebulas but they're too big for me! gonna try and sell them on swapshop. I normally wear a us9.5 but I bought a us10 on my friends recommendation and they are too big. spewing. first impressions though they are a very nice boot, very well made with great leather and the internal cage is quite comfortable. good heel lock down, excellent grip. it's a shame but lesson learnt go with your gut haha
Anyone know about sizing from Morelia Neo to Monarcida? My Neo's always fit tight until they stretch, and I'm worried about the synthetic upper on the Monarcida. Anyone have experience with both boots?
r u referring to monarcida 2 and monarcida neo 2 Japan-made? their toe box is higher than morelia neo.....i hv the monarcida 2 made in JP; the microfibre part on the mid n heel is soft enough.....i got them in the same size as my morelia II n Rebula V1 JPs....
I was referring to Monarcida neo 2 MIJ. I saw what you were talking about on rakuten, that the toe box is a bit higher. I think my normal size will be perfect. Thanks!
I can't give you an exact comparison but I wear Neo's exclusively now (well I bought a pair of the new Preds but I'm returning them) and wore Basara's for a short time and I bought the same size in the Basara that I wear in the Neo and they fit perfectly.
do you know if the origami one is going to have a MiJ version too? I only found Indonesian made ones on the net..
I don't have insider knowledge or anything but they're up for sale on PDS with no mention of a MIJ model.
for anyone interested, the rebula V1 Japans in piink are on discount! not sure to get them or not as the white ones are absolutely gorgeous and i have half a mind to wait for them, but my morelias just broke on me after 4 years and i do need a new pair of leather boots...
I have a pair of Mizunos that I got in 1998. They’ve been through 2 club seasons, a hs season and 2 college seasons, as well as some occasional rec league and pickup games since. The lining on the inside is about gone but the leather is still in decent shape. They’re black with white logo and a gold tongue and heel. Anybody got any idea what model they might be and if there’s anything in the new lines that might be comparable?
Can you post some pictures? If you can, hold out a few months because the white should be going on discount sometime soon.

the only ones that i know that fit the description is a take down model like this. then again if it was 1998 it could have been wave cups aha. hmm, any idea when that will be? Been waiting for a pair to drop prices and they've got that 2000 yen free shipping with a 15k purchase...
Not 100% sure but we are due a new colour soon...so you would think the white will go on sale soon as well. But maybe since the Pink just went in on discount maybe another month or two. Up to you...
ah yea, fair enough, haven't heard anything on a new colour yet so thought it'd take quite some time more.
