probably just minor ones like soleplate preferences i would assume. nowhere near what Adidas does for its players LOL
but the mix studs in white upper, hmmmm, on those soft pitches, it'll be dirty i noticed the 2 rear studs are a bit too close to one-another.....shud be wider apart for better stability
My buddy, the Morelia Master at the local sports shop, went to Tokyo a couple of days ago to see Mizuno products for Fall next year (May through to September). He said the Rebulas look absolutely incredible, though he wouldn't tell me the colour or anything. He said they were amazing though. Looks like I better start saving now!
I'm down to my last couple pairs of wave cups, anybody know when we might get a re-release? I don't care if it's temporary, I buy in quantity.
From what I was told earlier this year, there are no plans for a re-release in the next few years. I'm hoping he was hiding the info but I'm not sure
Few sizes left on the last pair of Wave Ignitus MIJ plus 20% discount today on soccer.com! If I wasn't in California and in the process of selling most of my boots I would pick those up in a second.
Also, if you don't like the boot color or the volt-ish laces on the White pair just change the laces to black and they will look great!
Got my V1 Rebulas yesterday. Mixed feelings about them to be honest. Nice leather of course but the blue plastic inside the heel liner looks cheap, nowhere near as nice as the suede in my Neos, and my heal just doesn't feel as well wrapped as the in the Neos. The slits in the tongue for the laces to pass thru don't seem to be in the right place - the laces have to take a slight bend - not sure if I should open the slit up a touch to eliminate this. I also find the tongue slides off to one side whilst playing in them, which is something I haven't seen since my Puma Evopower 1.2's. After 45 minutes of wearing them in 6 a side I now have the onset of heel blisters - never had that before with any boots. I do like the fit & the stud pattern. I hate to say they don't feel as comfy as my Tiempo 7's which wrap my heel like a glove (although after a while I have comfort issues with the ball of my foot in the Tiempos). I'm hoping they just need to break in a bit more but it's a bummer to have to stop training for a couple of weeks or so while my heels heal. Overall I'm wondering if I should have got some MIJ Morelia II's instead...... Stu.
Stu sorry for your unpleasant encounter with the V1.....is the blisters due to sizing or the socks ? pardon me, i never had blisters problems with any mizuno boots...... speedy recovery.....
Not sure if it was the Trusox plus new boots, although I wear the same Trusox with my Neos with no issues. I'll give them a go with regular socks next time. Size is perfect - snug like they should be but not tight, just like my Neos. Stu.
I would've like them to use suede on them but I like the material. For me personally, I feel the heel fits better than the Neo IIs, which felt a bit looser than other Mizuno boots have for me. I haven't had issues with the laces either. I have had hot spots on my heels, but I am super prone to blisters on my heels as it is so I always take that with a grain of salt. I always tape my heels up too and that seems to help. I have never really liked the stud placement nike has on the Tiempos, I have the same issue with the ball of my foot in them. You might have been happier with the Morelia IIs... There's always next time. Give them time though they only get better. Are your Rebulas MiJ?
Wave cup SS were the worst MiJ boots i've ever had, weirdly enough. possibly! might not like them if you liked the Neo 2s though.
Why but paraspo sell to overseas ? Mizuno wants the money. It is very difficult to buy a MiJ Boot in Europe. I buy my mizuno wave ignitus 4 last week.
Gutted. Although the weak pound has made buying MiJ from Japan much more expensive than it used to be. I should have bought a load of Morelia 2s when I had the chance!
