Hi guys. My 6 months old WI4 sole already separated (I played an hour session everyday). Should i send to cobbler to stitch the front leather part or the whole cleats?. Thank you.
That sucks man, i've been through that. Honestly the last thing I expected from a Mizuno product. Anyway, try using the Gear Aid Freesole Shoe and Boot Repair. They are better than Shoe Goo. Here's the link: https://www.gearaid.com/products/freesole?variant=28044141393 It says here your country is South Korea but in case you are in the US, any Bass Pro Shop should carry that. You might want to consider bringing it to a cobbler first though.
Anyone used the new AS shoes on old style astroturf pitches? (ie not AG) I'm talking about the ones with this sole plate:
Great thanks! I wish I had asked this a few months ago. I've bought 4 pairs of turf shoes since Christmas and I don't like any of them. I'm going to have to get rid of them all and buy some Mizunos, either the NEO shown in that attachment or maybe the fairly new Morelia ones. I've never had a pair of NEOs before, but I've got Indo FG and MiJ SI Morelias and I love them both, especially the MiJ
Ugh... my ankle's not getting any better since I felt it's time to walk without crutches. I'm definitely fine walking around, but it's nowhere near I can run or train. I know it takes time to heal and be back to the field, of course. I'm just a bit frustrated that it's not getting any better after some degree of recovery even though I am doing my best to do the REST things. In short, I can't wait to test out my Monarcida II JP... Should I sell them all away to avoid playing soccer earlier than I should?
Ah sorry man! That must be really hard to deal with. Have someone hide them from you until you are ready to play!!
Sorry for the double post. Love this video from Unisport. @JayMike-DK is a lucky man getting to visit Mizuno's factory!
Hey guys anyone bought from Sportsheart on rakuten before? trying to get some WI4 and just wanna make sure its legit haha. cheers https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportskym/item/soc_miz_igu_1613/
Alex, Sportsheart = good seller! ask for Japan Post small packet shipping, much cheaper, just another extra day or 2 vs EMS, just tht insurance coverage is not full amount, i think limited to no more than 10000-yen i got my Rebula V1 JP from them now got coupon, 1000 off for order >8000 code: FHB7-GLGP-YNCV-PM6N
2nd game over 2 weekends in my Rebula V1 really worth it, tho' not MiJ despite having almost no padding between the kangaroo leather and the inner lining and the CT-Frame (including a non-padded tongue), a slightly padded socks sufficed to cover the small weakness it has a high toe box like morelia II highly recommended.....check all the boxes one requires of a control boot outsole grips is just as good, no stud pressures
Confused by the text and prior comments saying you have an MiJ version...the pair discussed are not the MiJ model or really nice, but not up to usual MiJ standard despite being MiJ?
dr boots, sorry for the confusion my feedback abv is on the Indonesian made Rebula V1 yes, i also hv the MiJ Rebula V1 JP....haven't play with it yet.... basically, Rebula V1 (MII) is still a good buy!
Gotcha, thanks. Trying to track down a V2 AG in my size at the moment along w/considering a the MiJ model.
Hey guys if any one of you are interested, I recently put up my MIJ Basara 101 on the SwapShop. It's a size 26.0. Is anyone interested on a trade?
It was only one available in my size. 140€ Euro, but with coupon code 125€. I have to buy it[emoji1].
facts. i've been tempted to try the new tiempos, especially the black out academy pack that just dropped, but i know they won't measure up to my M2s. why even bother?
haha leather quality probably won't but the lockdown and responsiveness but differ. I've held off from getting a new pair of M2's cause I feel the lockdown on the sides is not enough (for me!) having been spoilt by all the flyknit boots like Obra, that really lock you in. Having said that, will probably still customise a cross stitched M2 at the end of the year around Xmas!
